i-layor Albert T. Henley called the Regular Apeting of the City Council of the
Town of Los Altos Hills to order at 7:57 P. M. in the Council Chambers of
the Town Hall, 26379 Fremont Road, Los ±ltos Hills, with the following mem-
bers ans.ering Roll Call: Present: Councilmen Aiken, Benson, Davey, Bowle,
and Mayor Henley. Absent: None.
PLANNING C(IINISSION R3PRESENTATIVE: Conciissioner Gordon E. Bowler
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: January 15, 1968.
Correction: P. 3, Scheduled Stem No. 5, change last sentence to read
"Ordinance No. 135 is effective immediately."
Upon eetion by Councilman Fowle, Second by Benson, the Minutes of January 15,
1968 were unanimously approved as corrected.

by Davey, that the Council authorize the payment of Ten Dollars
($10.00) annual dues to the California Library Association, was
carried unanimously by roll call vote: Ayes: Councilmen Aiken,
Benson, Davey, Fowle, Mayor Henley. Noes: Wone. Absent: None.
c) MZ, and Mrs. i4athew G. Boissevain, dated January 24, 1968, favoring
slope density regulation and opposing sewers.
d) B. W. Dorsch, dated January 24, 1966 re: section of road in the area
of Ravensbury and i4agdalena. City Manager suggested this letter be
referred to Staff for review and action. Council concurred.
e) William N. Buchanan, dated January 25, 1968, requesting permission to
install a. swimming pool with a 450' expansion drain field. City Manager
suggested Council refer the letter and site plan to the Health Depart -
Council concurred.

inary estimate of $450,000 for undergrounding of all facilities in
the area known as "Fremont Hills". P. G. & E. suggests a Committee of
three to review any areas the Council night desire to underground

Ajouni Sc. Joseph's Home for Girls, dated January 29, 1968 re: allowing
septic tan -s on in emergency interin basis.
Council directed City manager to consult with City Attorney concerning
whether the proposed septic tank ordinance would allow interim use of
sdptic tanks until sewers are coriv Inted, and to notify Sister Rosemary
of Weir findings.
Santa Clara County health Department, dated February 1, 1966, stating
that thay =nave deferred review on any land development which stipulates
individual sewage disposal systems until the City Council has reached
oscisions in regard to sanitary sewers and established new criteria for
indivi5oil s -wage disposal systems.
Council deferred discussion to the time this item was schedule0. on the
