Ross Aiken called the Regular ^adjourned Meeting of the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills to order at 6:46 P. A. in the Council Chambers of £he Town Hall, 26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, with the following members answering Roll Call: Present: Councilmen Benson, Davey, Helgesson, and Mayor Aiken. Absent: Councilman Fowle. At 4:46 P. -1., Mayor Aiken adjourned the meeting to Executive Session re: pending litigation. At 5:46 P. rvi., Mayor Aiken reconvened the Council. RECESS - 5:16 - 5:50 P. M. MOTIOFQ, SECOl4DED AND CARRIED: Councilman Benson moved, seconded by Davey, and carried unanimously, that the Council approve the following statement: "Some citizens have expressed strong-`eelings that Assessment District 1\10, 3 be cancelled or otherwise modified. others wish to retain the District. In an effort to �—wtermine what can and cannot legally be done and to review the pending law suit against the Town, the Council has sought two independen'L legal opinions. This Council finds that it oas no choice but to continue the formation of said District and must diligently pursue the welfare of t'ae entire community by ethically and legally adhering to the provisions of all contracts dealing with this matter, 'a4e will do all in our power to Lassen the impact and cost on the taxpayers in the District and in the Town."
