RESOLUTION NO. 145-86
RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION
OF MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
BETWEEN THE CITY OF THE
TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS AND Patricia Dowd.
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of the Town of
Los Altos Hills, County of Santa Clara, State of California, that
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of the Town of Los
Altos Hills has read and considered that certain Memorandum of
Understanding between the CITY OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS
and Patricia Dowd (herein referred to as the "employee")
concerning his employment as City Clerk and providing
for the following in connection with the position: duties,
compensation to be paid, the method of establishing the annual
salary to be paid, describing the benefits and policies to be
maintained for the employee, providing for the accural of sick
leave and vacation time, creating a vested right in the employee,
specifying the term of the Memorandum of Understanding, and the
method of termination,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY FOUND, ORDERED AND DETERMINED
as follows:
1. Public interest and convenience require the entering into
of a Memorandum of Understanding described above and the City of
the Town of Los Altos Hills hereby approves the hereinabove
described Memorandum of Understanding to become effective forthwith.

2. The City of the Town of Los Altos Hills shall enter into,
and the Mayor and the City Clerk of the City of the Town of Los
Altos Hills be, and they and each of them hereby is authorized
and directed on behalf of said City, respectively, to execute and
attest the Memorandum of Understanding between the CITY OF THE TOWN
OF LOS ALTOS HILLS and
REGULARLY passed and adopted this 15th day of OCTOBER, 1986.
