Subj: Quality of Llfe for residents when a project is allowed to continue :......
Mr Gary Waldeck,
Mr Rich Larsen,
Good Morning Gentlemen,
I am sorry to hear that Ms Ginger Summit and Jean Mordo are no longer on the Council.
I don't know if either of you remember this issue of this Pan Realty construction project right next to where my
wife and I live for 24 years.
We had no grandkids when this project started, now we have 8.
Last meeting I heard one of you speak about the peaceful quality of life of Los Altos Hills living. And a joke about
crazy developers".
Well, this project right next to our house is an example, a project that has impacted our lives for at least 13 years
continuously
It is supposed to be approved again for a "bunker' for today Thursday..
First one was denied after a stressful time between my wife and I and the whole group of developers/ experts,
and so on and so on. Even some hostile action from one of the consultants at the town hall.
Well it looks like for the last 23 years of our living in the home next to this property, we need to add maybe a
couple more years to this grand spectacle literally inches from our fence/property line.
hope I can suggest a stoppage or compassionate process for the Council to see this as an extraordinary quality
of life issue due to the amount of time this company takes to play with a project ( Pan Realty) is the applicant.
The owner has never lived there. I wish he did so he can see what dust and noise it brings not only downwind,
but also the "megaphone characteristic of the driveway on the property line that is uphill continually, belaboring
the 80,000 Ib tractor trailers that used to use it to get to the construction site from Magdalena.
Trust me no one"should be subjected to this. Not anyone else. I would not wish it even to the property owner.
The trouble is my wife had been sick at home for two days so I have not been able to even get to seethe plans
as Debbie Pedro suggested. She says they comply to all the requirements so there is no way to stop them.
I asked her to consider the time we have hed to be subjected to the project "toy" of the neighbor, since we are
the downwind property, lower than the construcion site.
Two family dogs have been lost during this project. Vanished completely. The people who come and go are from
everywhere. At one NIGHT a few years ago a police helicopter hovered for 20 minutes or more with search
lights when a car thief from San Jose ran from police to this construction site since he knew it was there.!!
Sincerely,
Ralph Colet

PS If if anyone has the time, I would like to make suggestions and inform the Town on points that have been and
are overlooked by the existing rules which leave the well-equipped developer teams to exploit or slip by with
these projects. Example the clean air rules being ignored, the noise, the dust, the control of gawkers and
entourages of contractors who "TOUR" the site during weekends and daily.hours when the owners of the
property ( my wife and I ) and some grandkids, may be loitering our premises to pick lemons along their site. It is
scary. We don't let them go out of the house any more like our kids used to. They have to be restricted indoors or
escorted along our fully fence property.

Ralph,
am not on the council now as my term expired last December. I suggest you contact Gary Waldeck. I
have been very impressed with his defense of the interests of our residents.
Best regards.

Mr Jean Mordo,
Good Evening,
My wife and I are still grateful.for your support with regard to the project of our neighbor
who never lived here.
Mr Pan. Believe me we are grateful.
Well it looks like the nightmare is about to start again after approx 13 years of no peace
living through a mini rock quarry, they are. going to be granted a permit to build, a bunker
tomorrow February 7 Thursday.
I propose that there be some ordinance or rule that limits the inconvenience to a
neighbor for any construction project.
In other words this project should have not been allowed to coritinae for more than two -
or three years.
Not 13 years of dust, trucks, gawking by the manyy many contractors guests of
.contractors,. totaLstrangers_for_over_13 years.
appreciate any support on my proposal to "limits to the interference to peaceful
existence of a resident.
The application shows" Pan Realty" to me this sounds like a business, not a resident Is
this allowed? Can a business operate in a residential neighborhood?
Thanking You in advance,
Warmest Regards,

Mr Jean Mordo,
My wife Carmen and. I wish to Thank You for listening attentively .to
our appeal and wading through the facts about this project of JJP
Realty.
My wife and I felt so hopeless after the Planning Commission
Hearing.
We are still in disbelief.
We are very Happy that our 10 year experience may finally be over
and some normality in our home life may be in the future.
Please do not hesitate to ask if there's anything we can do on behalf
of your efforts with the Town of the City of Los Altos Hills, You are
truly a very sharp Elected Official, the kind we need.
am glad you were noticing the size of this bunker. Yes it can
4
mathematically fit 49.28 average size cars of 7 feet by 20 ft long
average. Approx 50 full size cars.
