HomeMy WebLinkAbout1346 • • RESOLUTION NO. 1346 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS SETTING THE TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING ON THE PROPOSED CANCELLATION OF CONTRACT UNDER THE WILLIAMSON ACT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of the Town of Los Altos Hills, County of Santa Clara, State of California, that WHEREAS, heretofore William W. Wilson and Evelyn Wilson, his wife, entered into a contract with the City of the Town of Los Altos Hills under the California Land Conservation Act of 1965, as amended, also known as the Williamson Act, relating to certain agricultural land identified as Assessor' s Parcel Nos. 182-08-001 and 182-08-002 , respectively, herein called "the PROPERTY" ; and WHEREAS, William W. Wilson and Evelyn Wilson have requested and petitioned that the contract entered into pursuant to the Williamson Act be cancelled; and WHEREAS, the City Council is required to conduct a public hearing upon the petition and request of a landowner for the cancellation of contracts entered into under the Williamson Act, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows : 1. The City Council does hereby set the hour of 7 :30 p.m. on Wednesday, the 20th day of, May, 1981, in the Council Chambers , Town Hall, 26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, California, as the time and place for the public hearing on the proposed cancellation of the above-described contract entered into under the Williamson Act, and as required by Section 51284 of the Government Code of California. 2 . The City Clerk is hereby ordered and directed to cause notice of said public hearing to be made by one publication of Notice 110 IIP of Public Hearing in the PALO ALTO TIMES, a newspaper of general circulation published nearest to the City of the Town of Los Altos Hills, no newspaper of general circulation being published within the said city. 3. The City Clerk is further ordered and directed to cause Notice of said Public Hearing to be given by mail to each and every owner of land under contract pursuant to the Williamson Act, and any portion of which is situated within the same agricultural preserve as the PROPERTY, and within one mile of the exterior boundary of the PROPERTY.
