RESOLUTION NO. 1119
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF THE
TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS SETTING THE TIME AND PLACE
OF HEARING ON .THE ADOPTION OF A PROPOSED NEGATIVE
DECLARATION
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of the Town of
Los Altos Hills, County of Santa Clara, State of California, that
WHEREAS, heretofore Ethel F. Neary entered into a contract
with the County of Santa Clara under the California Land Conservation
Act of 1965, as amended, also known as the Williamson Act, relating
to certain agricultural land identified as Assessor ' s Parcel
No. 336-25-001, and which property was subsequently annexed to the
Town; and
WHEREAS, SEM Developers, Inc. , a corporation, the present
owner of the Property described therein, has requested and petitioned
that the contract entered into pursuant to the Williamson Act be
cancelled; and
WHEREAS, there has been prepared and filed with the City Clerk
a proposed Negative Declaration following an initial study to deter-
mine whether the proposed cancellation may have a significant effect
on the environment,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: as follows:
1. The City Council does hereby set the hour of 7 : 30 PM on
Wednesday, the 21st day of June, 1978 , in the Council Chambers, Town
Hall, 26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, California, as the time and
place when the City Council proposes to adopt the Negative Declaration
described above.
2. The City Clerk is hereby ordered and directed to cause
•
notice of the preparation of the Negative Declaration to be given
by posting in at least three (3) public places in the Town and upon
the Property described in the above-referred to Contract not less
than ten (10) days prior to the date of hearing, a Notice of
Preparation of the Negative Declaration.
3 . The City Clerk is further ordered and directed to give
notice of said Public Hearing by first class mail to any person
who has filed a written request therefor with the Town.
4. The City Clerk is further ordered and directed to cause to
be mailed a copy of the Notice of the Preparation of the Negative
Declaration to all organizations and individuals who have previously
requested such notice.
5 . The City Clerk is further ordered and directed to cause
Notice of the preparation of the Negative Declaration to be given
by mail to each and every owner of land under contract pursuant to the
Williamson Act, and any portion of which is situated within the
same agriculturalpreserve as the Property, and within one mile of
the exterior boundary of the Property.
REGULARLY passed and adopted this 17th day of May, 1978 .
