RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS
ACCEPTING GRANT OF A PATHWAY EASEMENT
(Lands of Koong)
WHEREAS, Jenny Hua Koong and Albert Koong, wife and husband, as community
property with right of survivorship ("Owners"), are the owners of the property commonly known
as 23690 Ravensbury Avenue, Los Altos Hills, California; and
WHEREAS, Owners have offered to grant to the Town an easement for the construction,
operation and maintenance of existing and future pathway facilities, for pedestrian, bicycle and
equestrian use ("Pathway Easement"); and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined it is necessary and proper and in the public
interest to accept the grant of the Pathway Easement;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills does
RESOLVE as follows:
Section 1. The Town hereby accepts on behalf of the public, and for the purposes
therein described, the Grant of Pathway Easement attached to this Resolution as Attachment A.
Section 2. The Town shall accept, and the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to

execute, the Grant of Pathway Easement.

THIS GRANT OF EASEMENT is made this day o�qfohe
2010, by
Jenny Hua Koong and Albert Koong ("Owners"), owners of the propertyonly
known as 23690 Ravensbury Avenue, Los Altos Hills, California, to and benefit
of the Town of Los Altos Hills, a municipal corporation("Town").
Section 1. Owners do hereby offer to grant to Town a perpetual right and
nonexclusive easement for the construction, operation and maintenance of existing and
future pathway facilities, for pedestrian, bicycle and equestrian use, together with right of
access thereto, on, under, over, along and through the real property situated in the Town
of Los Altos Hills, County of Santa Clara, State of California as described and depicted
in Exhibit A attached hereto ("Easement").
Section 2. Owners shall not allow the placement or construction of any
structures or improvements on the Easement property.
Section 3. The Town hereby accepts the grant of the Easement.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION
PATHWAY EASEMENT
23690 RAVENSBURY AVENUE
An easement for pathway purposes situated in the Town of Los Altos Hills, County of
Santa Clara, State of California, and is described as follows:
A portion of Lot 4 Block 3 and a portion of the undedicated private road known as
Toyonita Road as both are shown on map entitled Tract Map No.13 Map of Los Cerritos
recorded on July 21, 1931 in Book"Y" of Maps at Page 38, Santa Clara County Records,
and more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the most southwesterly corner of said Lot 4;thence westerly along the
prolongation of the most southerly line of said Lot to the centerline of said Toyonita
Road,North 85° 36'00" West 20.00 feet;thence northerly along the centerline of said
Toyonita Road North 05° 09'30"East 121.76 feet to a tangent curve;thence along said
curve concave easterly having a radius of 149.15 feet, an arc length of 96.43 feet through
an included angle of 37°05'00"; thence North 42° 14'30" East 166.07 feet to a point on a
line 30.00 feet as measured perpendicular to and southwesterly from the centerline of
Ravensbury Avenue as said avenue is shown on said"Tract Map No. 13"; thence South
46°16'00" East 27.18 feet to a point on the northerly line of Lot 4 said point being 5.00
feet measured perpendicular to and southwesterly from the northwesterly prolongation of
the northeasterly line of said Lot 4;thence southwesterly and southerly along the border
of said Lot 4 along a curve concave southeasterly having a radius of 20.00 feet, an are
length of 17.48 feet through an included angle of 50° 04'55"; thence South 42° 14'30"
West 150.02 feet to a tangent curve, said curve concave easterly having a radius of
129.15 feet, an arc length of 83.59 feet through an included angle of 37°05'00"; thence
South 05° 09'30"West 121.50 feet to the Point of Beginning.
Containing 7,584 square feet, 0.17 acres, more or less, as shown on the plat of the
pathway easement attached hereto and made a part hereof.
