ORDINANCE NO. 272 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS <br />AMENDING TITLE 4 OF THE LOS ALTOS HILLS MUNICIPAL CODE <br />ENTITLED "PUBLIC SAFETY" BY ADDING THERETO CHAPTER 7 <br />ENTITLED "SKATES AND SKATEBOARDS" <br />The City Council of the City of the Town of Los Altos Hills <br />DOES ORDAIN as follows: <br />SECTION 1. AMENDMENT OF CODE. <br />Title 4 entitled "Public Safety" of the Los Altos Hills Municipal <br />Code is hereby amended by adding thereto Chapter 7 entitled "Skates <br />and Skateboards" to read as follows: <br />CHAPTER 7. SKATES AND SKATEBOARDS. <br />SECTION 4-7.01. STREETS, PATHWAYS, PUBLIC PROPERTY: <br />USE RESTRICTED. <br />No person shall skate or use or, ride any roller skates <br />or skateboard or other similar device in, upon, or around <br />any public street or road or any pathway or pathway space, <br />or any Town -owned property in the City of the Town of Los <br />Altos Hills. <br />SECTION 4-7.02. VIOLATION; PENALTIES; IMPOUNDMENT. <br />In addition to the penalties provided in Section <br />1-2.01 of this Code, the Director of Public Safety, in <br />the event of a violation of any of the provisions of <br />this Chapter, may impound the skates, skateboard or other <br />similar device used in such a violation, which shall be <br />returned to the owner under such reasonable conditions <br />as may be established by the Director of Public Safety. <br />SECTION 2. PENALTIES. <br />Any person violating any of the provisions of this Ordinance is <br />guilty of an infraction. Any person convicted of an infraction under <br />
