SECTION V. 'Urgency Measure.
This ordinance is adopted pursuant to Section 65858
-I-
of the Government Code of the State of California, as an

which may be in conflict with contemplated zoning proposals
which the City Council and the Planning Commission of the Town
of Los Altos Hills intend to study within a reasonable time.
The City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills hereby finds
and determines that the natural mountain environment of the
portions of the town affected by this ordinance have a high

and that the purpose of this ordinance is to prevent the possible
loss of important resources by intensive development occurring
while appropriate regulations are being studied.

This ordinance, being an urgency measure, shall become
effective immediately upon its adoption, and shall be and remain
in full force and effect for ninety (90) days following the date
of adoption, unless further extended by subsequent ordinance.
