RESOLUTION NO. 934
RESOLUTION OF CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS
DECLARING THE INTENTION OF SAID CITY TO VACATE AND ABANDON
A PORTION OF A CERTAIN STREET LOCATED IN THE TOWN OF LOS
ALTOS HILLS UNDER THEPROVISIONS OF THE "STREET VACATION
ACT OF 1941, " SECTION 8300, et seq OF THE STREETS AND
HIGHWAYS CODE
It appearing to the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills
that a portion of a certain street more particularly described and
located within the Town of Los Altos Hills, California, should be
vacated and abandoned for the reason that the portion of said public
street easement is unnecessary for present or prospective public
street purposes, and that the best interestsof the citizens of Los
Altos Hills will be served by such vacation and abandonment;
And, pursuant to the provisions of the "Street Vacation Act of
1941, " Section 8300 , et seq. , of the Streets and Highways Code, such
action is authorized if a public street easement or portion thereof
is unnecessary for present or prospective public use;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ANDITIS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City
Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills as follows:
1. The City Council does hereby declare its intention to
vacate and abandon a portion of that certain public street easement
described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by
reference.
2. That the official name of the street, a portion of which
is proposed to be abandoned and the name by which it is commonly
known, is Elena Road.
3. A hearing on said proposed vacation and abandonment of
said public street easement hereinabove described, be and the same

is hereby fixed. for Wednesday, March 17 , 1976 , at the hour of
seven thirty o'clock p.m. of said day in the meeting place of the
City Council, Council Chambers, Town Hall, 26379 Fremont Road,
Los Altos Hills, California, notice of which hearing is hereby
given, at which time and place all persons interested in or object-
ing to said proposed vacation and abandonment may appear and present
objections to said proposed vacation and abandonment, and submit to
said City. Council evidence in support thereof, under and in conformity
with the provisions of said "Street Vacation Act of 1941. "
4 . Reference is hereby made to the map and/or plat of said
public street .easement above-described, on file in the office of
the City Clerk, Town .Hall, Los Altos Hills, California, for further
particulars and said map and/or plat is incorporated herein and made
a part hereof.
5. The proposed public street vacation and abandonment be sub-
mitted to the Los Altos Hills Planning Commission, to be considered
by said body and a recommendation returned to the City Council at
said hearing.
6. That this Resolution be posted forthwith within the Town of
Los Altos Hills in three (3) public places; .and that notices of said
vacation and abandonment, which notices shall state the passage of
this Resolution of Intention and of the time and place of hearing
thereunder, be. posted not. more. than 300 feet apart along the portion
of said public street easement proposed to be abandoned, under the
provisions of the "Street Vacation. Act of 1941. "

I HEREBY CERTIFY. that the foregoing Resolution was passed and
adopted at a regular meeting of the City. Council of the Town of Los
Altos Hills held on the 18th day of February , 1976.

All of that certain real property situate in the..TOIN OF LOS ALTOS
HILLS, SANTA. CLARA COUNTY,. CALIFORNIA, more particularly described as Fol-
, lows:
Commencing at the northeasterly corner of Lot 1 , "TRACT NO. 2375" ,
as said lot is shown on that certain map entitled, 'Tract No. 2375 Portion
of Lot 56, Map of the Subdivision of Lot 2 and Portion of Lot 1 of the
Taaffe Partition recorded in Book "H" of Maps , pages 76 and 77, TOWN OF
LOS ALTOS HILLS, CALIFORNIA, recorded. June 10, 1959 in Book 107 of Maps , •
at page 23, Santa Clara County Records, California; running thence from
said point of commencement along the northerly and northwesterly boundary
of said Lot 1 , Tract No. 2375, South 65° 55' West 95.58 feet; thence on a
curve to the left tangent to last mentioned course; said curve having a
radius of 70.00 feet through a central angle of 30° 26' and an arc dis-
tance of 37.18 feet to the True Point of Beginning; thence from the True
Point of Beginning the following courses and distances:
1. Continuing along the northwesterly property line of the .
aforementioned Lot 1 along a curve to the left having a
radial bearing of South 54° 31_' West a radius of 70.00
' feet, a central angle of 32° .57' and an arc length of
40.26 feet; thence
2. Continuing along the northwesterly property line of .
the aforementioned Lot 1 , South 2° 32' West, a distance
of 30.18 feet; thence

aforementioned Lot 1 , on a curve to the right, tangent
