OF LOS ALTOS HILLS DECLARING THE INTENTION OF SAID CITY TO VACATE AND ABANDON A PORTION OF A CERTAIN STREET LOCATED IN THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE "STREET VACATION ACT OF 1941, " SECTION 8300, et seq OF THE STREETS AND HIGHWAY CODE It appearing to the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills that a portion of a certain street more particularly described and located within the Town of Los Altos Hills, California, should be vacated and abandoned for the reason that the portion of said public street easement is unnecessary for present or prospective public street purposes, and that the best interests of the citizens of Los Altos Hills will be served by such vacation and abandonment; And, pursuant to the provisions of the "Street Vacation_ Act of 1941" , Section 8300, et seq. , of the Streets and Highways Code, such action is authorized if a public street easement or portion thereof is unnecessary for present or prospective public use; NOW., THEREFORE,BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills as follows: 1. The City Council does hereby declare its intention to vacate and abandon a portion of that certain public street easement described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. 2. That the official name of the street, a portion of which is proposed to be abandoned and the name by which it is commonly known is Robleda Road. 3. A hearing on said proposed vacation and abandonment of said public street easement hereinabove described, be and the same • 410 is hereby fixed for Wednesday, October 15, 1975 at :the hour of • seven thirty o'clock p.m. of said day .in the meeting place of the City Council, Council Chambers, Town Hall, 26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, California, notice of which hearing is hereby given, at which time and place all persons interested in' or objecting to said proposed vacation and abandonment may appear and present objections to said proposed vacation and' abandonment, and submit to said City Council evidence in .support thereof, under and• in conformity .with the provisions of. said "Street Vacation Act of 1941. " 4. Reference. is hereby made -to the map and/or plat of said . public street easement above-described, on file in the office of • the City Clerk, , Town Hall, Los 'Altos Hills,. California, for further particulars and said map and/or .plat is incorporated herein and made a part hereof. 5. The proposed public street vacation and abandonment be submitted to the Los Altos Hills Planning Commission,. to be considered • by said body and a recommendation returned to the City Council at said hearing. 6. That this .Resolution be posted -forthwith :.within the Town of • Los Altos Hills in three (3) :.public places; and that notices of said vacation and abandonment, which-notices shall state the passage of this Resolution of- Intention and of the time and place of hearing :thereunder, be posted 'not more 'than 300 feet apart along the portion of said public street easement proposed to be abandoned, under the provisions of the "Street Vacation Act of 1941. DESCRIPTION OF LAND PROPOSED TO BE ABANDONED ROBTEDA ROAD All that certain portion of Robleda Roan (formerly Robleda Avenue) as more particularly shown and delineated on that certain Record of Survey map, en- titled "Record of Survey, Lot 2, Tract 49, Robleda Heights, & a Portion of Lot 33, Subdivision of Lot 3 of the Taaffe Partition", as filed for record on January 22, 1963, in Book 156 of Maps, at page 24, in the office of the Recorder of the County of Santa Clara, State of California, and more par- ticularly described as follows; to wit , BEGINNING at the southeasterly corner of Lot 2, as the said lot is shown and delineated on the aforesaid Record of Sur- vey map, the following courses and distances: 1. South 21° 28' 20" East along the prolongation south- easterly of the last mentioned Lot 2, to a point 50.00 feet, measured at right angles to the southerly line of the last mentioned Lot 2, a distance of 59.37 feet; thence, 2. Leaving the prolongation of the southeasterly line of the said Lot 2, South 35° 53' 30" West along a line parallel to and 50.00 feet measured at right angles southeasterly from the southerly line of the afore- said Lot 2, to a point 30.00 feet measured at right angles to the centerline of Robleda Road, as said line is shown and delineated on the above mentioned Record of Survey map, a distance of 50.08 feet; thence 3. Along a line, parallel to and 30.00 feet, measured at right angles to the centerline of Robleda Road, as shown and delineated on the above mentioned Record of Survey map, South 63° 24' East, to an angle point in the southeasterly line of the aforesaid Lot 2, a dis- tance of 35.68 feet; thence 5. Along the southeasterly line of the aforementioned Lot 2, North 35° 53' 30" East, to the Point of Begin- ning, a distance of 153.42 feet. EXCEPTING therefrom the following described parcel, which is to be for pedestrian and equestrian purposes, and more partic- ularly described as follows: BEGINNING at a point from which point the southeasterly corner of Lot 2, as mentioned above, bears the following courses and distances: 1. North 35° 53' 30" East, a distance of 50.08 feet, and 2. North 21° 28' 20" West, a distance of 59.37 feet; Thence from the True Point of Beginning, the following courses and distances: 1.
