ORDINANCE NO. 16
AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF IAS ALTOS HILLS INCREASING FEES FOR FILING
OF CERTAIN DOCUMENTS AND TENTATIVE AND FINAL MAPS IN APPLICATION FOR
SUBDIVISION AND RECORD OF SURVEY PROCEDURES.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. There shall be hereafter charged by the office
of the Clerk o£ the Town of Los Altos Hills the following schedule of
fees for services as respectively indicated:
Fees to be delivered to the City Clerk with every tentative
map. Check to be payable to the Town of Los Altos Hills.
Thirty Dollars ($30.00) filing fee for one parcel plus Ten
Dollars ($10.00) for each additional parcel. Check to be made payable
to the Santa Clara County Health Department at the rates determined by
them.
Fees with every final map: check to be made payable to the Town
of Los Altos Hills --Fifteen Dollars ($15.00) for one parcel plus Five
Dollars ($5.00) for each additional parcel.
Fees for field checking and for inspection of improvements
will be established by the City Engineer of the Town of Los Altos Hills,
subdivider will be billed for same.
Recording fees to be paid directly to the County Recorder.
SECTION 2. It is hereby declared that this Ordinance is for
theimmediate preservation of the public peace, health or safety inas-
much as the fees heretofore,charged for such services do not cover the
expense i4lich the Town of Los Altos Hills is obliged to bear in con-
nection with the service and thereby imposes a drain upon funds not exist-
ing except as might be borrowed therefor and might cause insolvency if
continued.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall become effective3i.y
upon passage and shall be posted in three public places as designated
for posting of official notices in tk,B Town of Los Altos Hills.
Introduced, read in its entirety and passed at a regular meet-
ing of the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills on this 14th
day of June , 1956, by the following vote:
