AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS AMENDING ORDINANCE
NO, 87 PERTAINING TO REGULATION OF TRAFFIC
The City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills does ordain
as follows:
Section 1. Sections 1.2, 1.6, 1.11 and 5(H) of Ordinance
NO. 87 adopted by this Council on May 6th, 1963, are hereby re-
pealed.
Section 2. Section 3.10(A) of said Ordinance NO. 87 is hereby
amended to read:
"(A) Any vehicle that has been parked or left standing upon
a street or highway for seventy-two (72) or more consecutive hours.'-

ours."Section 3. Section 4.3(C) of said Ordinance NO. 87 is hereby
amended to read:
"(C) Whenever the Police Chief installs and maintains an
official traffic signal at any intersection, he shall likewise
erect and maintain at such intersection street name signs visible
to traffic approaching from all directions unless street name signs
have previously been placed and are maintained at any said inter- f
section."
Section 4. Section 7 of said Ordinance NO. 87 is hereby amen-
ded by adding at the end thereof the following sentence:
"Stop signs shall not be erected or maintained at any en-
trance to an intersection when such entrance is controlled by an
official traffic control signal."
Section 5• Except as hereby amended, said Ordinance NO. 87

shall remain in full force and effect.
Section 6. If any section, subsection, clause or phrase of
this Ordinance is for any reason held to be unconstitutional or
invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of any of
the remaining portions of this Ordinance. The City Council hereby
declares that it would have passed each section, subsection, sen-
tence, clause and phrase thereof irrespective of the fact that
any one or more sections, subsections, sentences, clauses or
phrases be declared unconstitutional or invalid.
Section 7. This Ordinance shall be posted in three (3) pub-
lic places within the Town of Los Altos Hills and shall become
effective thirty (30) days after its adoption.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance was regularly
introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the Town of
Los Altos Hills on December 7th, 1964 and
