A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS
HILLS ORDERING AND CALLING A GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION
TO BE HELD ON MARCH 5, 1974 AND. PROVIDING FOR GIVING OF
NOTICE THEREOF
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Government Code of the State of
California, the Town of Los Altos Hills, a general law city, is
required to hold an election for the filling of certain offices;
and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 22830 of the Elections Code the
City Clerk is required to post .a notice of this election;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, as follows:
1. . A general Municipal Election shall be held in the Town of
Los Altos Hills on Tuesday, March 5, 1974, for the following
officers:
(a) - Two members of the City Council, each to be
elected for a term of four (4) years.
2. The polls shall be open between the hours of 7 : 00 o'clock
A.M. and 8:00 o'clock P.M. on the day of election.
3. The City Clerk be and he hereby is authorized and directed
to post the following notice of the General Municipal Election within
the time and in the manner specified in Government Code Section 22830:
NOTICE OF ELECTION
Notice is hereby given that a General Municipal
Election will be held in the Town of Los Altos Hills on
Tuesday, March 5, 1974, for the purpose of electing tw9.. .
councilmen for four year terms.
The polls will be open between the .urs of 7: ko
and 8: 00 p.m.

all notices in the manner required by law, including the list of
nominees, election officers and polling places.
