M M WJM&L:PDA;S :zw 7/18.72 12c RESOLUTION NO. 674 A RESOLUTION APPOINTING ATTORNEYS SEWER ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 10 RESOLVED, by the Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills, California, that WHEREAS, this Council has determined to undertake proceedings pursuant to appropriate assessment and assessment bond acts for the acquisition and construction of public improvements in said Town; WHEREAS, the public interest and general welfare will be served by appointing and employing attorneys for the preparation and conduct of said proceedings in connection with said acquisition and construction of improvements; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows : 1. That Robin D. Faisant, Town Attorney, and the law firm of Wilson, Jones, Morton & Lynch, San Mateo, California, be, and they are hereby, appointed and employed to do and perform all legal services required in the conduct of said proceedings, including the preparation of all papers not required to be prepared by the Engineer, examining and approving the engineering documents and advising the Engineer in the preparation of his work, advising all Town officials on all matters relating thereto when called upon, and furnishing the legal opinion of Wilson, Jones, Morton & Lynch on the validity of said proceedings and bonds, and that their com- pensation be, and it is hereby, fixed at 3% of the project cost, or $1, 00, whichever is greater, 2% of said compensation to be paid to Wilson, Jones, Morton & Lynch, and 1% to be paid to Robin D. Faisant, together with reasonable fees for services in acquiring easements or in eminent domain or other suits, to be assessed as an incidental expense of said proceedings . 2. That the fees provided to be paid herein be paid from said assessments to be levied and bonds to be issued, and not otherwise. * * * * * * * * *
