The Clerk reported that the Planning Commission, at its meeting of May 27, 1963, recommended approval of application to move a house from • • p .629 Milverton Road, Los Altos to Lot 2 , Tract 3327 on Hilltop Drive. Councilman Bowler commented that this matter was not an item of the .`.Planning Commission' s Agenda, that there is a good deal of public in- terest, and that ,he ,would recommend that the..item be ,returnedto the, , Planning Commission for proper hearing. ACTION: That the application of Gordon Morrison, to move house on Lot 3, . Tract No. 3327, 12135 Hilltop Drive , be referred.back to the Planning Commission for hearing. • eMOTION: Bowler; SECOND: Aiken; The following persons spoke in opposition to the granting of the ap plication: Mr. Lindau, Mr. C. Mr. Morrison explained that he had contacted the Building Inspector and felt that he had complied with the provisions of the House Moving Ordi- nance; that he was informed laterthat a hearing would be required, . and that all was required was a letter requesting consideration by the .Planning Commission in order to be- heard at the meeting. Fuller; -Kendall I: (Vo143-63) .,- Reduction in Front Yard Setback Re- quirement'. equirement: The Clerk reported that the Planning Commission recommended approval for reduction in front yard setback for construction on Nina Place, Fremont Hills:'. He explained that the applicant had previously been granted a variance of five feet (5% in order to use the existing pad; that attthe time construction was to commence, it was found that an errorhad been made in calculating the distance frau: the road and that. an additional reduction is required, in the amount of twenty feet (20') . The objection of Mr. Wm. Best, adjacent..property owner, was noted. Due to adiscrEpancy in the distances shown on the map, the following action was taken: ACTION: That the ruést of Kendall K. VOTE: Passed unanimously VARIANCES: Fuller, Kendall K. (V-143-63) - Request for Reduction in Setback Require- ment-. Mr. Fuller petitioned the Council to consider his request, stating that he had phoned his Contractor who verified the fact that the. pad is twenty feet (20' ) froth the road. Mr. Self en Stated that the pad, as it exists, is the only place for the house to be constructed. ACTION: That the request of Kendall K. Fuller (V-143-63) be approved. MOTION: Fowle; Motion was withdrawn. ACTION: ' • That 'the former action, by the Council, be rescinded, and that the request for variance of Kendall K. Fuller be granted. MOTION. Mr.' Johnson -commented and asked the Council' s consideration of certain items, pertaining to inconsistencies in the Ordinances, relative to the following: setback requirements, changes in lot lines, require- ments for improvements.
