Wood, of 12125 Stonebrook Drive , commented in opposition to the proposed use of the property. ACTIONi. .. . That the Council go on record as asking the County Planning .Commis- sion to postpone this matter until proper notice can be given to the residents in the area and the Town can express its feelings a- gainst granting this request. MOTION: Aiken, No Second. ACTION:. That the Council go on record as opposing the proposed use along the Town boundaries, and that a letter be drafted and forwarded to the Santa Clara County Planning Commission on these grounds. MOTION: Henley; SECOND: Aiken; AMENDMENT: That if therequest is not denied, that no action betaken. AMENDED BY: Henley; SECOND: Aiken; VOTE: Passed unanimously ACTION: That the letter be presented to the County .Planning Commission by .. Nestor Barrett, the Town's Planning Consultant. ACTION: That the request for variance be denied and that the applicant be informed that the moving permit, granted by this Council, was issued on the assurance, by the applicant, that the house was chosen as being particularly suitable for the neighborhood and would fit on l',the cleared pad already in existence without over- hanging and unsightliness. further that the plan for reducing the width of the house and modifying it to make it suitable for tho neighborhood meet the full approval of the Planning Commission, f 1 .` and that failing that, the City Attorney be authorized to take ::the necessary legal steps to have. the house removed as a nuisance, ' and that the City Council rescind its permit.
