U. at the Town Hall , 26379 Fremont Road , Los Altos Hills , California. ROLL CALL: PRESENT: Councilmen liken, Fowle , Henley, Deputy Mayor Sherlock ' BSENT : Mayor Clayton MINUTES : October 15, 1962. .CTION: Adopt Minutes of October 15, 1962 as submitted. COMMUNIC IOUS : 1. Santa Clara County Boundary Commission - Notice of trorosed annexations to the City of Mountain View, designated as Grant-St . Joseph No. 8 and Rock No . 3 ; to the City of Cupertino, designated as Pasadena 62-4 and one untitled annexation. ANNOUNCEIENTS : None . COMMITTEE ='TORTS : 1. Traffic Control - Sheriff ' s Department . Lt .Elton Heck and Sgt . Curtis , of the Santa Clara County Sheriff ' s Dept . , discussed traffic problems in the Town and answered questions asked by Council and citizens present . The Council was invited , by Lt . Heck , to visit the Sheriff ' s Office to see how records are maintained . 2. Subdivision Bonds - City Manager. Rerort ..was given by the City Manager relative to problems experienced by other cities regarding subdivision bonds in default . The Council agreed that the Town should proceed to take action against bonding companies where subdividers have defaulted in completion of im- provements . OLD BUSSNESS : 1 . Street Names - Yuba and Elizabeth. The City Manager commented on the letter from Mrs . Rose Elizabeth Taaffe Lovece relative to historical background concerning street names in the Town. LUpon the suggestion from the Planning Commission, the present names will not be changed unless there are requests from property owners . The City Manager reported that the City Engineer recommended accertacce of Fernhill assessment Project Improvements in letter of 'Tovsmber 1 , 1962. John Riley. The Clark stated that the Tentative Map is a redivision of Lots 3 and 4 of Tract No. 1535; that a portion of Lot 4 has been added to Lot 2; Lot 4 remains the same area. He pointed out that Lot 2, being .926 acres , is substandard in area. Ihr flr. Paterson preferred access Prom Otonebrook for lot 2 rather than as recommended by the City Engineer. questions were raised by Fr. Ho with rogand to improvements required for Irosp ct ond. Stonebrook noted in the City Engineer ' s letter and requirements discussed by Planning Cor fission. - .
