B. Clayton Monday , December 17 , 1962 et 7:59 F. N. at the Town Hall , 26379 Fremont Road. , Los Altos Hills , California. ROTS CALL : PRESENT: Councilmen Aiken, Towle , Henley, Sherlock , Mayor Clayton ABSENT : None MINJTES : December L_ 1962. AC TI O,._ : Adopt Minutes of December 3 , 1962 as submitted . MOTH ".ikon SE..Cr P1 : Henley ; VOTE: AYES: ',iken, Henley, Sherlock NOES : None ABSTAINED : Fowls , Mayor Clayton ABSENT : 'Ione COIFIUNI C 'TI OHS : 1 . Fremont Hills Development Co . - Mr. E. Van Buskirk, in letter of Dec . 12, 1662 , appealed to the Council to approve extension of Use Permit for sales office for one year. The Clerk explained that the Planning Commission had , at its meeting of December bun , recommended denial of the extension of the permit . Commissioner Bowler, Chairman of the Planning Commission, commented that n0 one was present from the Fremont Hills Development Co . to dis- cuss the matter with the Commisslon. He also stated that the Planning Commission had reluctantly recommended approval last year. The City Clerk commented that there have been no objections to the office received by the Staff . ACTION : That the Council adopt the recor;mer_dation of the Planning Com- mission. NOTION: Henley; SECOND : Aiken; The Mayor suggested that action be withheld at this time, and that the Devulcpers be advised to appear to discuss the matter. 4111. Chairman Bowler mentioned that the present Use Permit will expire be- fore the Cc'ancil convenes again.
