Item 31 of the Campus Report Supplement, No. 10, dated April 6, 1970, between Deer Gulch Creek and Page Mill Road on Stanford land, coupled with the LM-5 construction presently underway on adjoining land, would impose additional traffic burden on roads in Los Altos Hills; therefore be it RESOLVED, That the Town of Los Altos Hills opposes development in the Coyote Hill Area of dwelling units in a manner incompatible with the rural land-use concepts of adjoining lands of Los Altos Hills and does hereby declare that the pursuit of such development, approval of the community of Palo Alto notwithstanding, would constitute an affront to this community and a breach of Stanford Board of Trustees guidelines of 1954 stating that "material gain is not necessarily the governing factor (applying to the subdivision of lands)" and (that) the natural beauty of the area and other aesthetic qualities be respected. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing is a full, true and correct copy of a resolution duly passed and adopted by the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills, California, at a meeting thereof held on the 4th day of May, 1970, by the following roll call vote: AYES: Councilman Aiken, Davey, Grabowski, Helgesson, Mayor Benson NOES: None ABSENT: None ATTEST: ;, City Clerk Town of Los Altos Hills -.
