RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS
ACCEPTING GRANT OF A PATHWAY EASEMENT
(Lands of Lizaur)
WHEREAS, Pedro L. Lizaur and Margaret A. Lizaur, husband and wife, as Community
Property, ("Owners"), are the owners of the.property commonly known as 11571 Buena Vista
Drive, Los Altos Hills, California; and
WHEREAS, Owners have offered to grant to the Town an easement for the construction,
operation and maintenance of existing and future pathway facilities, for pedestrian, bicycle and
equestrian use ("Pathway Easement"); and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined it is necessary and proper and in the public
interest to accept the grant of the Pathway Easement;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills does
RESOLVE as follows:
Section 1. The Town hereby accepts on behalf of the public, and for the purposes
therein described,the Grant of Pathway Easement attached to this Resolution as Attachment A.
Section 2. The Town shall accept, and the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to
execute, the Grant of Pathway Easement.

GRANT OF PATHWAY EASEMENT
TO THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS
(Lands of Lizaur)
THIS GRANT OF EASEMENT is made this /b%ay of , 2007, by
Pedro L. Lizaur and Margaret A. Lizaur,husband and wife, as Communi Property,
("Owners"), owners of the property commonly known as 11571 Buena Vista Drive, Los
Altos Hills, California,to and for the benefit of the Town of Los Altos Hills, a municipal
corporation("Town").
Section 1. Owners do hereby offer to grant to Town a perpetual right and
nonexclusive easement for the construction, operation and maintenance of existing and
future pathway facilities, for pedestrian, bicycle and equestrian use, together with right of
access thereto, on, under, over, along and through the real property situated in the Town
of Los Altos Hills, County of Santa Clara, State of California as described and depicted
in Exhibit A attached hereto ("Easement").
Section 2. Owners shall not allow the placement or construction of any
structures or improvements on the Easement property.
Section 3. The Town hereby accepts the grant of the Easement.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION
ON ROAD PATHWAY EASEMENT
A Portion of Buena Vista Drive
All that certain land which is situated in the County of Santa Clara, Town of Los Altos
Hills, State of California, and being a portion of the lands of Lowenthal and a portion of
the lands of Danforth as shown on that certain Record of Survey filed for record on April
9, 1956 in Book 69 of Maps, Page 8 Santa Clara County Records, and being more
particularly described as follows:
Commencing at a 3/4" iron pipe tagged RCE 13318 at the Northerly corner of that certain
parcel of land conveyed by Deed to Harold F. Danforth, et al, filed on July 1, 1953 in
Book 2675 of Official Records at Page 196, Santa Clara County Records, said iron pipe
being on the Northeasterly boundary line of that certain parcel of land conveyed by Deed
to W.B. Lowenthal, filed on April 13, 1927 in Book 318 of Official Records at Page 20,
Santa Clara County Records;
Thence along the Northwesterly boundary line of last said lands of Danforth
S 45° 08' W, 4.34'
Thence leaving last said line S 14° 57' 40"E, 32.82' to the existing paved Northerly edge
of Buena Vista Drive and being the True Point of Beginning of the lands being described
herein;
Thence along the said Northerly edge the following courses;
N 62° 33' 32"E, 17.14';N 72°32' 11" E, 37.53'; S 87° 20' 28"E, 21.27';
S 84° 34' 18"E, 120.31'; S 80°44' 17"E, 42.32'; S 72°47' 26"E, 96.05', and
S 88°05' 22" E, 19.66' to the Northeasterly boundary of said lands of Danforth as shown
on said Record of Survey;
Thence along last said boundary S 27° 10' 10" E , 11.99', to the Southeast corner thereof
at a point in the Centerline of Buena Vista Drive as shown on said Record of Survey;
Thence along the Southerly boundary of last said lands of Danforth, N 81° 39' 04" W,
45.94', to the Southerly paved edge of Buena Vista Drive; Thence along the said
Southerly edge the following courses;N 71° 35' 52"W, 76.63'; N 81°21'13" W, 42.15';
N 84°32' 56" W, 124.16'; and S 70° 09' 04" W 53.10', to the Eastery line of Parcel A as
shown on that certain Parcel Map filed October 12, 1973 in Book 331 of Maps, at Page
19, Santa Clara County Records; Thence N 8° 50' E, 5.03' to the Northeast corner of said
Parcel A; Thence S 77°20' W, 16.12' to the Northwest corner of said Parcel A;
Thence along the Westerly line of said Parcel A, S 8° 50' W, 0.89'; Thence leaving last
said line N 14° 57' 40" W, 8.54' to the True Point of Beginning. All as shown on the
