RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF LOS ALTOS-HILLS
ACCEPTING GRANT OFA PUBLIC ACCESS EASEMENT •
(Lands of Klein)
WHEREAS, William C.•Klein and Elizabeth C. Klein, Trustees of the Klein Family •
Trust dated October 21, 1997, ("Owners"), are the owners of the property commonly known as • •
26063 Todd Lane,:Los Altos.Hills, California; and
WHEREAS, Owners have offered to grant to the Town an easement for the construction, .
operation and maintenance of existing and future facilities for pedestrian, bicycle, equestrian •
and public use ("Public Access Easement"); and
WHEREAS,the City Council has.determined it is necessary and proper and in the public
interest to accept the grant of the Public Access Easement;
NOW, THEREFORE,. the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills does
RESOLVE as follows:
Section 1. The Town hereby accepts on behalf of the public, and for the purposes
therein described, the Grant of. Public Access Easement_ attached to this Resolution as
Attachment A.
Section 2. The Town shall accept, and the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to
execute,the Grant of.Public Access Easement.

GRANT OF EASEMENT
TO THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS
(Lands of Klein)
THIS GRANT OF EASEMENT is made this l day of , 2007, by
William C. Klein and Elizabeth C. Klein, Trustees of the Klein Family T st dated
October 21, 1997, ("Owners"), owners of the property commonly known as 26063 Todd
Lane, Los Altos Hills,•California,to and for the benefit of the Town of Los Altos Hills, a
municipal corporation("Town").
Section 1. Owners do hereby offer to grant to Town a perpetual right and
nonexclusive easement for the construction, operation and maintenance of existing and
future facilities for pedestrian, bicycle, equestrian and public use, together with right of
access thereto, on, under, over, along and through the real property situated in the Town
of Los Altos Hills, County of Santa Clara, State of California as described and depicted
in Exhibit A attached hereto ("Easement").
Section 2. Owners shall not allow the placement or construction of any
structures or improvements on the Easement property.
Section 3. The Town hereby accepts the grant of the Easement.

Legal Description-Public Access Easement
A strip of land 25.00 feet in width for public access purposes situate in the TOWN OF
LOS ALTOS HILLS, COUNTY OF SANTA CLARA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, lying
adjacent to and Northerly of the centerline of Todd Lane (50'), as shown on that certain
Tract Map entitled "Tract No. 3698"recorded March 24, 1964, at Book 175, Page 46,
Santa Clara County Records, said strip being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the centerline of Todd Lane, said point being the city monument
bearing South 2°45' 32" West 25.00 feet from the common Southerly corner of Lot 2
and Lot 3 as shown on said map; thence North 2°45' 32" East, 25.00 feet to the
Southwest corner of Lot 3 as shown on said map; thence along the Southerly line of Lot 3
South 87° 14' 28"East, 190.00 feet to the Southeast corner of said Lot 3; thence South
2°45' 32" West, 25.00 feet to a point on the aforesaid centerline; thence along said
centerline North 87° 14' 28" West, 190.00 feet to the point of Beginning.
