TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS
MINUTES OF ADJOURNED MEETING
The meeting was called to order by Deputy Mayor C. Easton Rothwell,
P^onday, December 9t-'', 1957 at 8 P. M. at the Town Hall, 26379 West
Fremont, Los Altos Hills.
ROLL CALL: PRESENT: Deputy Mayor Rothwell, Bledsoe, Fowle, Hoefler
ABSENT: Mayor Treat
MINUTES: December 2, 1952.
Corrections: Page 2, Ordinance #35: It was decided to
'postpone' the first reading of Ordinance #35
etc.
Page 21 New Business: Fremont Hills Dev-
elopment Company requested the extension of
approval of the variance, granted November 3,
1956, for 'two' more years.
Page 3, New Business: Road Construction:
Should read as follows: The City Clerk was
asked to make a study in conjunction with the
City Engineer regarding a road reconstruction
program in the Town with special reference to
35000+ which is to our credit from the State
Gas Tax Fund for new road construction and -make
recommendations to the City Council.
Page 3, Warrants: Roll Call: Mayor Treat
was absent.
ACTION:
Adopt minutes of December 2nd, 195?, as corrected.
CORRESPONDENCE:
1. Pacific Gas and Electric Com an - Announcement of Hearing to be
Feld.
Hearing regarding the proposed increase in rates will be held on
Thursday, January 2, 1958 at 10 A. M. in the Commission Courtroom,
State Building, San Francisco, California
Deputy Mayor Rothwell suggested that the Town of Los Altos Hills
be represented by someone of the Staff.

Deputy Mayor Rothwell suggested that the City Clerk write to
Mr, Booker requesting that he indicate to us when the recommend-
ations of the Engineer will be made, and give us the tentative
time and date of the hearing.
3 Garner Bullis - Speed. Restriction on `Jest Fremont.
Letter dated December 9b requested thel$_.me and er hour

report of the California Automobile Association be adopted.
The corner of Edith Avenue and West Fremont with regard to north-
bound traffic was discussed.
It was suggested that the
speed limit be 25 miles per hour on West
Fremont from Edith Avenue to
Deputy Mayor Rothwell suggested that the City Clerk ask Mr. Kellogg
to make another survey of the areas discussed, and report to the
Council.
4, WARRANTS:
Bills in the amount of 35,214.69 were presented for payment, and
were itemized by Councilman Fowle.
ACTION:
That bills in the amount of 55,214.69 be approved for payment
and the City Clerk be authorized to draw appropriate warrants.
