that they be informed of all decisions in this mitt*91 .

April'3, 1957, so the Town can submit comments on
this Use Permit.

proceedings.

"A technical motion to strike portions of our
pleading has been denied by Judge Foley, and the
demurrer by the plantiff over -ruled. So we will
noir proceed to set the matter for trial at an early date"-.,

b. Town Bulletin: Councilman Bledsoe reported on the Town
�1�letin. Some people felt that due to the organizsti on
of the Los Altos Hills Association that the Bulletin
was no longer needed. Mrs. Sugden and Mr. Pfeiffer
discussed the problems with the Council, after which
the Council decided that the Bulletin would be continued
as it was felt it was serving a definite purpose.
7. Discussion of Cenns st Mr. Bledsoe reported that the Town
Los os -Altos H s needs a census study, and there
was a discussion as to whether such a study is currently
needed. The Council suggested this matter be discussed
in the Fall because of the additional homes presently
being built in the Town.
8. Town Hall Planti : A letter was received from Richard S.
b -ra son -;-c ah 21v 1957, Chairman of the Town Hail
Committee, stating that the planting program will be
divided into three sections. The Total cost will be
approximately $2,500. Currently, the Town has $700.
for this purpose and an additional $1,800 is needed.

to 201. The Planning Commission has approved at their
meeting on March 23, 1957•

1. Conditions as outlined by the Planning Commission.

map dateg June, 1956. 4 building sites.
,r Mr. Clark appeared before the Council to appeal the
action taken by the Planning Commission at its meeting
of March 23, 1957, and outlined the various hardships
which he felt to be justified in this appeal. Richard
Bullis, Chairman of the Planning Commission, outlined
the rationale behind the Commission's recommendations
considered to be the best and fairest. The cost for
in lieu payments for construction were based on estimates
by the Town Engineer.

The Council supports the Planning Commission in their
requirements for:

a. Dedication of 10 ft. for widening of the right-
of -way on Taeffe and Elena.
b. Dedication for elimination of two serious curves
on Elena.
c. Improvement to Town Standards of one-half of
Taaffe where contiguous to the subdivision.

The Counall also requires that in any future division
of the subject property a covenant running with the land
in a form satisfactory to the City Attorney that no
access be permitted from any part of this property to
Elena Avenue, at the discretion of the Planning Commission
Further, that no lot shall be relieved by any provision
or requirement whereof from proportional liability of
any future improvement district.
