HomeMy WebLinkAbout392 ORDINANCE NO. 392 AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO PREZONE THE PROPERTY ADJACENT TO 25309 LA LOMA DRIVE WHEREAS, on January 7, 1998, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills ("Council") approved a site development permit and related variances for two parcels (the "Project") ; and WHEREAS, one parcel of the Project is located at 25309 La Loma Drive within the Town limits, and the other is located adjacent thereto but within the jurisdiction of the County of Santa Clara; . and WHEREAS, in conjunction with approval of the site development permit, on January 7, 1998, the Council .also approved a parcel . merger and annexation of the parcel which is currently located within the County of Santa Clara; and WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO) for the County of Santa Clara requires that the parcel currently located within the County of Santa Clara be prezoned prior to commencement of annexation proceedings; and WHEREAS, the zoning designation for the parcels surrounding the Project is R-A, residential agricultural; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission and the City Council held duly noticed public hearings to consider the prezoning.. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills does ORDAIN as follows : . 1. PREZONING. The property adjacent to the "Lands of Loughmiller" located at 25309 La Loma Drive ("Property") , as further described and shown as Parcel 1 on the attached Exhibit A, is hereby prezoned to Residential-Agricultural (R-A) , and when the Property is annexed to the Town, the Residential Agricultural (R-A) zoning designation of the Property shall become effective at the same time that the annexation becomes effective. 2 . ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW. This project is categorically exempt from the :California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA") . 1 3%lah%ord%prezone.ord 3 . EFFECTIVE DATE; POSTING. This' ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days from the date of its passage, and shall be posted within the Town of Los Altos Hills in three (3) public places .
