RESOLUTION NO. 346
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS
HILLS, DECLARING THE RESULT OF ITS CANVASS OF THE
PRECINCT ELECTION RETURNS OF THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL
ELECTION HELD ON APRIL 12, 1966.
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 337, passed and adopted on
the 7th day of February, 1966, the City Council called and ordered
a General Municipal Election pursuant to Section 22803 of the •
Government Code of the State of California for the purpose of elect-
ing two councilmen; and
WHEREAS, notice of said General Municipal Election was
duly published as required by law and by said resolution; and
WHEREAS, it appears that said General Municipal Election
was duly held in accordance with the law and said call on the 12th
day of April ; 1966, and that the polls for said election were kept
open during the time required by law, and that said election was
held and conducted; and the votes thereat received and declared,
all as provided by the laws of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills has
duly convened at its usual meeting place on the 19th day of April,
1966, being the first Tuesday after the election, and has completed
a canvass of the returns 'of such election; and
WHEREAS , said canvass was duly completed and the results
thereof are as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, the following persons were voted upon for the of-
fice of councilman.

MARY C. DAVEY
RICHARD W. TOWLE
PRISCILLA R. WEISBART
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council
of the Town of Los Altos Hills :
1. That the City Council finds and hereby ratifies and
declares the result of the General Municipal Election held on
April 12, 1966, to be as follows :
a. That said General Municipal Election ias hold and
conducted in the Town of Los Altos Hills , County of Santa Clara , State
of California , on Tuesday, April 12, 1966, in the time , form and man-
ner required by law:

b. That there were FIVE (5) voting precincts :
1) Consolidated Precinct No._ 1, consisting of
County Precincts 2381, 2387 , 2391.
2) Consolidated Precinct No. 2, consisting of
County Precincts 2382, 2389, 2395.
3) Consolidated Precinct No. 3, consisting of
County Precincts 2384, 2385, 2390.
4) Consolidated Precinct No. 4, consisting of
County Precincts 2386, 2388, 2392.
5) Consolidated Precinct No. 5, consisting of
County Precincts 2383, 2393, 2394.
c. That a canvass of the votes cast in said city for
councilmen was duly held in accordance with the order of the City
Council and in accordance with law.
d. That there were five (5) consolidated precincts ,
numbered "1" , "2" , "3" , "4"and "5" , and the following number of
votes Z:Jas cast in each precinct for the candidates :

e. That thirty-four (34) registered voters who expect-
, ed to be absent from their election precinct on the day of the elec-
tion secured ballots from the City Clerk, and that twenty-five (25) .
of said absentee ballots issued by him have been cast in the time re-
quired by law.
f. That all absent voter ballots have been duly re-
ceived and canvassed in the time , form and manner as required by
law, and the result of the ' absentee vote for the candidates are as
follows , without regard to precincts :

IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that this Council does declare the
following named two (2) persons as having the highest number of votes
of each office , and as indicated by the number of votes after their
names are duly elected Councilmen of the Town of Los Altos Hills.

Mary C. Davey
and that those elected were each elected for a term of four (4) years.

- IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and he is
hereby instructed to enter this Resolution in full in the Minutes
of this Council as the statement of the result of said General Muni-
cipal Election, and that the City Clerk be and he is hereby author-
. ized and directed to perform any and all incidental duties herewith
as required by law.
• I HEREBY CERTIFY that the forgoing Resolution was adopted
by the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills at a Regular
Adjourned Meeting of the said Council held on the 19th day of April,
1966, by the following vote :
