HomeMy WebLinkAbout106 • RESOLUTION NO. 106 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS APPROVING THE CIRCULATION OF A PETITION FOR THE ANNEXATION TO SAID CITY OF THE TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS "SAN ANTONIO HILLS NO. 1." WHEREAS there has heretofore been filed with the City Clerk of the Town of Los Altos Hills an informal petition for the annexation by said City of all of that certain inhabited territory designated as "San Antonio Hills. No. 1, " which said 1 territory is fully described in Exhibit A, attached hereto, and by this reference incorporated herein; and, WHEREAS, the Annexation Act of 1913 provides that the legislative body may adopt a resolution approving the circulation of a formal petition for an annexation pursuant to said Act; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills: 1. That approval is hereby given for the circulation of the petition for annexation of that territory designated as "San Antonio Hills No. 1, " twenty-one days after publication of such notices and statements as may be required by law. 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution. SAN ANTONIO HILLS NO. 1 A PROPOSED ANNEXATION TO THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS All that certain real property in the County of Santa Clara, State of California, described as follows: Beginning at a point in the corporate limit of the Town of Los Altos Hills as now established, said point being the most westerly corner of the land described in the deed to Ethyl Neary dated March 5, 1953, and recorded in Book 2593 of the Official Records , at page 319, in the office of the County Recorder of said County; thence southeasterly along the southwesterly line of the land described in said deed to the intersection thereof with the west line of Section 7, Township 7 South, Range 2 West , Mount Diablo Base and Meridian; thence southerly along said west line of Section 7 to the southwest corner thereof; thence easterly along the south line of said Section 7 southeast corner thereof; thence northerly along the east line of said Section 7 to the northeast corner of the southeast quarter thereof; thence easterly along the southerly lines of Lots 1 and 2 of Section 8, Township 7 South, Range 2 West , M.D.B.& M. , to the southeast corner of said lot (2) thence northerly along the east line of said lot (2) to the intersection thereof with the southerly line of the San Antonio Rancho; thence easterly along said southerly line to the southwest corner of Tract No. 10, Jo Mora Ranch, as shown on map recorded in Book Y of the maps at page 53, in the office of said County Recorder; thence along the south line of said Tract No. 10, North 87°05' East 764.39 "eet, to the southeast corner thereof; thence North 87°05' East 1120.17 feet to the southwest corner of Tract No. 1970, Mora Heights Estates, as shown on Map recorded in 73ook 88 of Maps at pages 54 and 55, in the offices of said County Recorder; thence along the southerly line of said tract 1970, North 87°19'01" East 953.12 feet ; thence South 15°01'00" East . 115.96 feet to a point in the center line of Permanente Creek; thence , along the center line of Permanente Creek, said center line being also the easterly line of said Tract No. 1970, the following courses and distances; North 58°51'00" East 66.23 feet, North 07°13'00" East 66.18 feet, North 21°16 '00" West 42.96 feet, North 18°47'00" East 99.32 feet, North 19°43'00" `lest 66.10 feet, North O1°16'00" West 112.47 feet, North 59°04'00" East 90.74 feet, North 03°03'00" East 66.17 feet, North 32°46'00" East 56.96 feet, North 5 °05100" East 108.63 feet, North 30°43'00" 1Jest 117.57 feet, North 31°42'00" West 91.15 feet and North 56°26'00" 'Jest 31.04 feet to a point in the easterly line of the land described in the deed to Elmer L. Davidson and Lois Davidson, dated March 26, 1952, and recorded in Book 2390 of Official Records at Page 267, in the office of said County Recorder; thence , northerly along the easterly line of the land described in said last mentioned deed, said easterly line being also the center line of Permanente Creek, to the most easterly corner of said land; thence northwesterly along the northeasterly line of said land to the southeasterly line of Mora Avenue, forty (40) feet wide ; thence southwesterly along said southeasterly line of Mora Avenue and its southwesterly prolongation to the south- westerly line of Eastbrook Avenue , forty (40) feet wide; thence northwesterly along said southwesterly line of Eastbrook Avenue or its prolongation to the intersection there with the south- easterly line of the land described in deed to Samuel H. Williston and Eleanor A. Williston, dated March 31, 1945, and recorded in Book 1255 of Official Records at Page 217, under filing number 342372; thence northeasterly along said south- easterly line to the most easterly corner of the land described 111 in said last mentioned deed; thence northwesterly along the northeasterly line of said land and its northwesterly prolonga- tion to the westerly line of Eastbrook Avenue ; thence northerly along said westerly line of Eastbrook Avenue to the intersection thereof with the southerly line of Loyola Drive forty (40) feet wide; thence westerly along said southerly line of Loyola Drive and northerly along the westerly line of Whitham Drive forty (40) feet wide to the northeasterly line of Tract No. 201, Sub- division No. 4, Los Altos Country Club Properties , Loyola, or its southeasterly prolongation, as shown on map recorded in Book 7 of Maps at Page 19, in the office of said County Record- er; thence northwesterly along said northeasterly line of Tract No. 201, or its southeasterly prolongation to the most northerly corner of said Tract No. 201; thence southwesterly along the northwesterly line of said Tract Nc. 201 to the northeasterly line of the land described in deed to Harry E. Foley and Grace L. Foley, dated March 31, 1954, and recorded in Book 2846 of Official Records at Page 372, in the office of said County 'recorder; thence northwesterly along said northeasterly line to the most northerly corner of the land described in said last mentioned deed; thence southerwesterly along the northwesterly line of said land to the northeasterly line of Tract 1184, Foothill Ranch, as shown on map recorded in Book 44 of Maps at Page 55, in the office of said County Recorder ; thence northwesterly along said northeasterly line of Tract No. 1184 and the northwesterly prolongation thereof to a point in the northwesterly line of Magdalena Avenue forty (40) feet wide , said point being also in the corporate limit of the Town of Los Altos Hills ; thence along said corporate limit and the meanderings thereof, southerly, westerly, northerly, wester- ly and southerly to the point of beginning.
