TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS
ITH REAS, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills
has in accordance with the provisions of the Government Code of
the State of California, at a regular meeting of the City Council
held on the ].7th day of AprV , ' 1956, conducted a canvass of votes
cast by the voti
voters of the Town of Los Altos Hills at an election
duly held on the lOtth day of A1, 1956, and for the election of
three councilmen of said City to serve for a term of four years,
commencing on the 17th day of April, 1956•
AND WHEREAS, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills
has further this day duly canvassed all absentee ballots returned
as supplied under the provisions of law for said election of April
10th, 1956,

AND WHEREAS, such absentee ballots show the following votes
cast for the candidates as set out after their name hereafter;
4 AND WHEREAS said canvass has determinedthat the following
is the total of votes cast for each person for the office of council-
man of the City of the Town' of Los Altos Hills to wit;
votes for Leighton Bledsoe.:..;.
"ILL votes for C. Easton Rothwell
/7/ votes for' Sidney '& Treat
( 117 -votes for Channing We Cathcart
/a . votes for Fred W. Gutt

NOW, THEREFOR', BE IT RESOLVED, and the City Council of the
Town. of Los Altos Hills does hereby declare that the following per-
sons were elected by' the voteas indicated after their names at the
election for_City Councilmen held on the 10th day of April, 1956, in
the Town of Los Altos Hills and for the term of four years, commencing
on the 17th day of April, 1956, to wit;
Leighton Bleds'oe:.. r1114 votes
C. Easton Rothwell .58 d ' votes
Sidney W. Treat Q votes
The foregoing Resolution was duly passed at a regular meeting
of the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills on, the 17th day of
April 1956 by the following vote b
