CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL <br /> Mayor Johnson called the Regular Meeting of the City to order at 6:00 p.m. in the <br /> Council Chambers at Town Hall. <br /> Present: Mayor Johnson and Councilmembers Casey, Dauber and <br /> Finn <br /> Absent: Councilmember Siegel <br /> Staff- City Manager/City Engineer Jeff Peterson, City Attorney Sandy <br /> Sloan, Planning Director Curtis Williams, Public Works Manager <br /> Jim Rasp and City Clerk Pat Dowd <br /> Press: Carol Tiegs, Los Altos Town Crier <br /> 2. APPOINTMENTS AND PRESENTATIONS <br /> • 2.1 Appointment to Pathways Recreation and Parks Committee <br /> Fred Fallah, 12374 Priscilla Lane, expressed his interest in serving on the Pathways Recreation <br /> and Parks Committee. He wanted to contribute to the Town in the areas of improved paths and <br /> parks as well as path maintenance. He also commented on the property and privacy rights of <br /> residents when considering placement of paths. <br /> MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Casey, seconded by Finn and passed <br /> unanimously by all members present to appoint Fred Fallah to the Pathways Recreation and <br /> Parks Committee for a two-year term. <br /> 3. PLANNING COMMISSION REPORT <br /> The Planning Director reported that the following applications were discussed at the March 24' <br /> Planning Commission Meeting: Lands of Congregation Beth Am, 26790 Arastradero Road: <br /> request for a site development permit for a landscape screening and lighting plan- approved; and <br /> Lands of Logan, 14250 Berry Hill Lane: request for a site development permit for a new <br /> residence- approved. The Planning Director also reported that the following applications were <br /> discussed at the April 14'Planning Commission Meeting: Lands of Butt, 24708 Voorhees Drive: <br /> request for a site development permit for a six foot high solid wood fence and a variance to <br /> exceed the maximum height allowed by the Town's Code - approved; and Lands of Burger, <br /> 25850 Westwind Way: request for a site development permit for a new 3,994 square foot two- <br /> story residence with a maximum height of 26 feet and a variance to exceed the maximum <br /> development area by 1,695 square feet- denied. <br /> April 15, 1999 <br /> Regular City Council Meeting <br /> 1 <br />
