CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL <br /> Mayor Johnson called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 6:00 p.m. in <br /> the Council Chambers at Town Hall. <br /> Present: Mayor Johnson and Councilmembers Casey, Dauber and Finn <br /> Absent: Councilmember Siegel <br /> Staff: City Manager/City Engineer Jeff Peterson, City Attorney Sandy <br /> Sloan, Planning Director Curtis Williams and City Clerk Pat Dowd <br /> Press: None <br /> MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Dauber, seconded by Casey and passed <br /> unanimously by all members present to add the following to the Consent Calendar on the agenda <br /> as an urgency item: Proclamation: Commending Ann Clausen for her contributions to the <br /> Community Health Awareness Council. <br /> MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Dauber, seconded by Finn and passed <br /> unanimously by all members present to add the following to the agenda as Item 6.3 as an urgency <br /> item: Stipulation withdrawing Writ of Mandate Challenge - Santa Clara County Superior Court <br /> Case No. CV761669. <br /> 2. APPOINTMENTS AND PRESENTATIONS <br /> 2.1 Appointment to Pathways Recreation and Parks Committee <br /> Nancy Ewald, 26131 Altadena, commented on her interest in the Town's pathways and believed <br /> they were an important part of the community. Concerning the issues of off-road paths and <br /> recreational opportunities for Town residents, Ms. Ewald noted that she would need to learn <br /> more about these issues before commenting on an opinion. <br /> MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Dauber, seconded by Casey and passed <br /> unanimously by all members present to appoint Nancy Ewald to the Pathways Recreation and <br /> Parks Committee for a two year term. <br /> 2.2 Presentation by Sheriff Laurie Smith <br /> Sheriff Smith introduced herself to the Council.
