CALL TO ORDER, ROLL CALL, AND PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />Mayor Tryon called the Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council to <br />order at 4:45 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Town Hall. <br />Present: Mayor Tryon and Councilmembers Dauber, Hubbard, <br />Johnson and Siegel <br />Absent: None <br />Staff: City Manager Les M. Jones, II, Director of Public Works Jeff <br />Peterson, Town Planner Linda Niles and City Clerk Pat <br />4 Dowd <br />�w Press: None <br />2. GOALS AND OBTECTIVES <br />Council discussed the goals and objectives as stated in the City Manager's <br />report dated 5/5/93 for the following departments: City Clerk, Finance, City <br />Attorney, Town Committees, Community Service, Insurance, Police, <br />Emergency Preparedness, Planning, and Building Inspection. No changes <br />were made to the City Clerk, City Attorney, Insurance and Emergency <br />Preparedness goals and objectives. Regarding Finance, Tryon noted that it <br />appeared that in the past funding sources had not been contacted by the <br />Town. Council agreed to add the following goal: 'Pursue attracting new <br />sources of income where appropriate: Concerning the goal to set up <br />computerization of business licenses, including a modified, updated rate <br />structure, it was agreed to add delivery trucks to those services needing <br />business licenses, to consider using summer help for this project and to ask <br />the City Manager to contact his <br />k4 May 19, 1993 <br />w Adjourned Regular Meeting <br />
