CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL <br /> Mayor Hubbard called the Special Meeting of the City Council to order at 12:15 <br /> p.m. in the Council Chambers at Town Hall. <br /> Present: Mayor Hubbard and Councilmembers Johnson and Siegel <br /> Absent: Councilmembers Casey and Tryon <br /> Staff: City Manager Les Jones, II and City Clerk Pat Dowd <br /> Press: None <br /> 2. APPROVAL OF FINAL WORDING OF REBUTTAL TO ARGUMENT <br /> AGAINST ADVISORY BALLOT MEASURE ON FIRE RETARDANT <br /> ROOFING <br /> Council discussed the argument received against the advisory measure on <br /> fire retardant roofing and the appropriate wording of a rebuttal. <br /> Richard Landrum, Los Altos Fire Chief, commented on the rebuttal being <br /> discussed and noted that A or B roofs may not necessarily be more expensive <br /> because they may be longer lasting. <br /> It was noted that this rebuttal would not be signed by the Los Altos County <br /> Fire Protection District as they would not be meeting before the deadline to <br /> file the rebuttal. <br /> MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Johnson, seconded by <br /> Hubbard and passed unanimously by all members present to approve the <br /> following final wording of rebuttal to argument against advisory ballot <br /> measure on fire retardant roofing: <br /> March 11, 1992 <br /> Special Meeting <br /> 1 <br />
