I, 732 -End <br />Mayor Lucile Hillestad called the Adjourned Meeting of the City Council to order at <br />3:07 PM in the Council Chambers of Town Hall. <br />I. Executive Session - Litigation. <br />Mrs. Wood, Stonebrook, requested a copy of the proposed budget. <br />Council adjourned to litigation session - meeting re -convened at 4:02 PM. <br />2. Review of BSA #6079-76. <br />Due to possible conflict of Interest, Mayor Hillestad vacated her chair and turned <br />( the meeting over to Mayor Pro Tem McReynolds. <br />16r The City Manager reiterated Items discussed at the previous meeting and Introduced <br />the new driveway plan detailing brush removal and approximately four foot cut on <br />Chaparral Way for sight distance, the re -designed driveway with approximately 20% <br />less grading and the installation of retaining walls as needed. <br />MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Councilman Brown, seconded by Councilman <br />Nystrom and passed unanimously to approve the driveway plan, received May 25, 1978, <br />for LANDS OF Hillestad, BSA #6079-76. <br />MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Councilman Proft, seconded by Councilman <br />Nystrom and carried unanimously to add as a new condition: That an exemption be <br />granted to Section 9-4.712, Ordinance 232, to provide for one additional home on <br />Chaparral Way. <br />3. Discussion of Westwind Farms. <br />Mayor Hillestad requested suggestions from the audience and Council for the Board <br />of Directors of Westwind Farms as necessitated by the upcoming review of the Condi- <br />tional Use Permit and recent controversies experienced at Westwind. <br />Mrs. Goldsmith, Elena Road, offered support and commendation for the work done at <br />the Farm, especially, the recent "Olympics" benefit day. <br />Mrs. Miller, Vista del Valle Ct., expressed hope for an early resolve of all con- <br />fllcts and proposed that four of the Board Members not have stalls at Westwind. <br />Council and Staff discussion centered on the most Important aspect of keeping the <br />L stable operation beneficial to the community of Los Altos Hills, support of Mrs. <br />Miller's proposal, eliminating control by select groups, by-laws revisions and <br />re -structuring of the Board/Manager concept now utilized. <br />Mrs. Wood Stonebrock, questioned a lack of financial statement from Westwind and <br />determination followed to consider this proposal. <br />
