I - 001-707 <br />Mayor Keith Brown called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at <br />7:35 P.M. in the Council Chambers of Town Hall: <br />A. ROLL CALL: <br />Present: Council Members Cheney, Hillestad, McReynoldsProft, Mayor Brown <br />Staff: City Manager Robert Crowe, City Attorney Frank Gillio, City Engineer <br />Alec Russell, City Planner John Markl, City Clerk Norma Hislop <br />Press: Palo Alto Times; San Jose Mercury -News <br />B. CONSENT CALENDAR: <br />At the request of Mrs. Alma Wood, Item 2 was removed from the Consent Calendar, <br />4W and Councilman Cheney requested separate consideration of Item 1. <br />Councilman Proft moved, seconded by Councilwoman Hillestad and unanimously <br />carried to approve the remaining items on the Consent Calendar, specifically: <br />3. Motion to approve form of Agreement between Town and Jones-Tillson Assoc. <br />for design of Page Mill Rd. Culvert improvements as authorized by Reso. #1012. <br />4. Motion setting April 6, 1977 as date for hearing requests for tentative map <br />approval for the following: <br />a� Country Way Subdivision, File #TM2041-76 <br />b Lands of Sisson, File #TM2049-76 <br />c) Lands of Duval, File #TM2049-76 <br />d) Lands of Wild Barley Hill, File #TM2046-76 <br />ITEMS <br />REMOVED FROM CONSENT <br />CALENDAR <br />FOR <br />SEPARATE CONSIDERATION: <br />1. <br />Approval of Minutes: <br />March <br />2, <br />1977 (Regular Meeting) <br />Councilman McReynolds requested that page 5, para. 2, reflect the fact that it <br />takes a minimum of six weeks and a minimum of two public hearings before any <br />change could be made in the zoning ordinance. <br />On page 7, para. 1, next to last line, Councilman McReynolds requested that the <br />word "perrogative" be changed to "initiative." <br />4W 2. Approval of Warrants: $17,727.22 <br />No questions were raised regarding the items appearing on the Warrant List. <br />
