CITY COUNCIL <br />TONN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS <br />26379 Fremont Road <br />Los Altos Hills, California <br />MINUTES OF All ADJOURNED HEETING <br />Tuesday, March 9, 1976 <br />Reel 85, Side 1 Tr. 1 - 001-752 <br />Mayor Stanley Grabowski called the Adjourned Heeting of the City Council to <br />order at 7:30 P.M. in the Council Chambers of Town Hall: <br />1. ROLL CALL: <br />PRESENT: Councilnen Cheney, Helgesson, McReynolds, Mayor Grabowski <br />ABSENT: Councilwoman Miller <br />STAFF: City Manager Robert Crowe, Deputy City Clerk Norma Hislop <br />2. CANVASS OF VOTE: GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION, [larch 2, 1976: <br />At the request of Mayor Grabowski, City Manager Robert Crowe declared the <br />results of the General Municipal Election as follows: <br />CANDIDATE <br />Keith M. Brown <br />Lucile T. Hillestad <br />David G. Proft <br />Diana S. Miller <br />Carmella Saviano <br />TOTAL # OF VOTES CAST <br />1,153 <br />1,359 <br />1,466 <br />965 <br />396 <br />Mr. Crowe informed Council that Keith M. Brown, Lucile T. Hillestad and <br />David G. Proft had received the highest number of votes and were thereby <br />elected to the Office of Councilman for a term of four (4) years <br />Councilman Helgesson moved, seconded by Mayor Grabowski to adopt Resolution <br />#940 declaring the canvass of returns and result of Consolidated Municipal <br />Election. Motion carried unanimously by roll call vote. <br />3. DECLARATION OF PLANNING COMEHISSION VACANCIES: <br />Mr. Crowe declared that, as a result of the election, three vacancies now <br />existed on the Planning Commission. He encouraged citizens who were in- <br />terested to apply to his office for an application which could be forwarded <br />to Council Members for their consideration. <br />Hr. Crowe also noted that, as a result of recent amendments to the Brown <br />Act, all applicants to Planning Commission and Committees, if they are <br />interviewed, must be interviewed in public and voted on in public. <br />
