CITY COUNCIL <br />TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS <br />26379 Fremont Road <br />Los Altos Hills, California <br />MINUTES OF AN ADJOURNED MEETING <br />Thursday, June 17, 1976 <br />SESSION NOT TAPE RECORDED <br />Mayor Robert Cheney called the Adjourned Meeting of the City Council to order <br />at 3:05 P.M. in the Council Chambers of Town Hall: <br />A. ROLL CALL: <br />Present: Councilmen Grabowski, Proft, Councilwoman Hillestad, Mayor Cheney <br />Absent: Councilman Brown <br />Staff: City Manager Robert Crowe <br />B. CURRENT BUSINESS: <br />The purpose of the Adjourned Meeting was to continue discussion of salaries <br />and fringe benefits for Staff for BY 1976-77. <br />Councilman Grabowski moved, seconded by Councilwoman Hillestad, that the <br />total amount of increase for Town employees be $9,380 for nine positions. <br />Motion carried unanimously by roll call vote. <br />Councilman Proft moved, seconded by Councilwoman Hillestad, that Norma <br />Hislop be designated City Clerk and that she receive an additional $100/mo <br />and be considered Exempt to compensate for the duties. Motion carried <br />unanimously by roll call vote. <br />Councilman Proft moved, seconded by Councilwoman Hillestad, that the Accounting <br />Technician, Pearl Croy, be designated Accountant/City Treasurer, and that the <br />Draftsman, Daryl Fazekas, be designated the Building Inspector, and that both <br />positions be considered Exempt. Motion carried unanimously by roll call vote. <br />Councilman Grabowski moved, seconded by Councilwoman Hillestad, that the <br />City Manager be given an 8.5% increase in salary. Motion carried by the <br />following roll call vote: <br />AYE: Councilmen Grabowski, Proft, Councilwoman Hillestad <br />NO: Mayor Cheney <br />ABSENT: Councilman Brown <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />461 <br />
