'40tion <br />was unanimously approved. <br />#Ar HELD DISCUSS1011 Oil THE SIZE OF THE ENVI <br />Co—u—n—cfTman 9rabowski stated he would like to hear the views of aaeh of the <br />Planning Commissioners concerning the si7a for the EPC and the RP% and <br />what ta, functions of each are. <br />Discussion followed between the Council "embers and the Planning Co-mission- <br />ers. <br />Commissioner Perkins stated he believed the duties of the EPC included the <br />Seneral Plan, the Open Snace Problems, nrainp.ge Problems, review of Ordin- <br />ances, as per state requirement, Conditional Uses, Road Problems, Pathwav <br />Problems, review of Subdivisions, Tentative Maps, Housing, LAFCO and Urb\n <br />Service Areas. Nays of solving problems and revica-ing those requiring <br />review could be accomplished by (1) hirin- more professional help, (2) the <br />EPC taking on all thew mitters,'and (>) individual Pl=nning rommissionzrs <br />being assigned to special problems for their review and suggestions. <br />Commissioner Laehanbruch stat^d the nencrel eoncensus of the Commission is <br />the mambershi;) should be raduced from 9 nombcrs to 7 members, and thst nen- <br />bers of tha BPA should be part of the Planning Commission an' E^rve s`'vl- <br />taneously on the FPC. <br />City Attorney Cillio stated the State Law requires that DPA nanb.^-rs le—e nert <br />NW of the EPC. <br />L <br />
