CITY C1UNCIL <br />TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS <br />MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING <br />June 19, 1972 <br />Reel 45: Side 2 Track 1 45 -End <br />Side 1 Track 2 00-95 <br />Deputy Mayor Mary C. Davey called the regular meeting of the City Council <br />of the Town of Los Altos Hills to order at 7:45 P.M. in the Council <br />Chambers of the Town Hall, 26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, with the <br />following members answering roll call: Present: Councilmen Grabowski, <br />Kubby, Miller and Deputy Mayor Davey. Absent: Mayor Helgesson. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION REPRESENTATIVE: Commissioner Weisbart. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Minutes of May 1, 1972 were not yet completed. <br />1. Postmaster W.D. Chronert of Los Altos advised that the branch post <br />office at the Town Hall will be closed June 30, 1972 since it's <br />continued operation was not justified by the cost incurred. Council <br />concurred and suggested the Post Office Department consider locating <br />a drive-in mailbox near the Town Hall. <br />2. Mr. C.R. Noller submitted his comments regarding the Vietnam Resolution <br />adopted at the June 5, 1972 Council Meeting. <br />3. Cornish, Carey, Powell & Lee Realtors urged that the Town continue <br />to allow "For Sale" signs on property within Los Altos Hills. <br />4. County of Santa Clara submitted Progress Report #3 on the County Bike <br />Route System. Discussion and recommendation by the Planning <br />Commission is agended for the June 26th meeting. <br />S. Mr. W. Stegner requested signs be posted on Page Mill Road near Three <br />Forks Lane indicating hazardous blind curve. Council concurred to <br />also post an advisory 15 M.P.H. sign. <br />6. Board of Supervisors expressed appreciation for support of the Transit <br />Proposition and requested a Council representative be named to the <br />Transit Advisory Committee. Council concurred that Mayor Helgesson <br />represent the Town. <br />7. Mr. A. Laggorio, attorney for Adobe Creek Lodge, requested a litigation <br />session with the Council. City Attorney advised and Council concurred <br />that this could be scheduled for the July 10th meeting. <br />8. Mrs. M. Rutherford commented on narrow width of E. Sunset Drive. <br />Council referred to Staff for a recommendation. <br />`r 9. Mrs. L. Brubaker expressed appreciation for Wells Fargo Security <br />services. <br />
