CITY COUNCIL <br />TOWN OU LOS ALTOS HILLS <br />MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING <br />June 1, 1970 <br />REEL 27 - SIDE 1, TRACK 2 -- FOOTAGE 00-1350 <br />REEI 27 - SIDE 2, TRACK 2 -- FOOTAGE 00- 350 <br />Mayor Walter A. Benson called the Regular Meeting of the City Council of the <br />Town of Los Altos Hills to order at 7:50 P. M. in the Council Chambers of <br />the Town Hall, 26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, with the following <br />members answering roll call: Presents Councilmen Aiken, Davey, Grabowski, <br />Helgesson and Mayor Benson. Absent: None. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION REPRESENTATIVE: Commissioner Priscilla Weisbart <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES: May 18, 1970. <br />Councilman Helgesson moved, seconded by Grabowski and carried unanimously, <br />that the Minutes of May 18, 1970 be approved as submitted. <br />COMMUNICATIONS: <br />1. City of Hayward, Resolution No. 70-168, supporting action by appropriate <br />authorities to abate the pollution of the environment by jet aircraft. <br />2. Letter from the Nature Conservancy requesting donations to assist in <br />their acquisition of natural marshlands and tidelands around the Bay. <br />ow 3. City of Saratoga, Resolution No. 537, urging the Santa Clara County <br />Intex-City Council to conduct a study of County -wide Law Enforcement problems <br />and to determine the feasibility of forming a County -wide Law Enforcement <br />Agency. <br />UNSCHEDULED ITEM NO. 3: <br />NOTICE OF COMPLETION FOR THE MAGDALENA ROAD DRAINAGE PROJECT. <br />City Manager reported that the Magdalena Drainage Project had been completed <br />by M. J. Taaffe Co., Inc., and our Engineer recommended the Notice of <br />Completion be filed. <br />MOTION, SECONDED AND CARRIED: Councilman Helgesson moved, seconded by <br />Grabowski and carried by unanimous roll call vote, that Staff's recommenda- <br />tion to accept the Magdalena Drainage Improvements (Project No. 6-1-10) <br />be approved and directed the City Clerk to have a Notice of Completion for <br />the work filed in the Santa Clara County Recorder's Office, <br />UNSCHEDULED ITE1.1 NO. 4: <br />REQUEST FOR A ONE YEAR EXTENSION FOR THE FILING OF THE FINAL MAP FOR <br />PARKSIDE UNITS #2 and #3. <br />Staff stated Mr. A. Lambert, subdivider for Parkside Estates, Ltd., presently <br />has an application before the Planning Commission to amend the Tentative Map <br />for Parkside Units #2 and #3. Since this amendment would not be accomplished <br />in time to file the Final Map before the original 18 months expires, the <br />applicant requested a one year extension be granted for the filing of the <br />Final Map. <br />
