Benson called the Regular Adjourned Meeting of the City <br />Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills to order at 7:52 P. M. in the Council <br />Chambers of the Town Hall, 26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, with the <br />following members answering roll call: Present: Councilmen Aiken, Davey, <br />Grabowski, Helgesson and Mayor Benson. Absent: None. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION REPRESENTATIVE: Commissioner Donald B. Spencer <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTBSt June 1, 1970. <br />Councilman Helgesson moved, seconded by Grabowski and carried unanimously, <br />that the Minutes of June 1, 1970 be approved, with the following corrections: <br />(1) Page 4, delete the words "designed and" from Item 2 under PRESENTATIONS <br />FROM THE FLOOR, (2) Top of Page 5, delete the words "pump for". The context <br />is to indicate that the Town Engineer only approves the installation. <br />1. Invitation from Palo Alto to attend presentation of Livingston & Blaney <br />Report #3, describing the alternatives for land development in the Palo Alto <br />Foothills and their recommendations. <br />2. Registrar of Voters advised any declarants of financial disclosure <br />statements, filed prior to them being determined unconstitutional, may have <br />them returned, if requested. <br />3. City Manager reported a claim had been received by the Town, Mountain <br />View, Sunnyvale, and Santa Clara County on account of personal injuries <br />sustained by the claimant, Benjamin Kliger, walking on Fremont Avenue on the <br />bridge near Miramonte. It was noted that the claim was possibly misrouted, <br />as well as Los Altos not being included among the recipients. <br />MOTION, SECONDED AND CARRIED: Councilman Aiken moved, seconded by Helgesson <br />and carried unanimously to deny the claim of Benjamin Kliger and refer it <br />to the Town's insurance carrier. <br />4. Letter from Joel Kubby requesting reactivation of his plea for considera- <br />tion of mini -bike usage by the Noise Abatement Committee. <br />5. City Manager stated the official Guidelines of the Local Agency Formation <br />Commission had been received. They were prepared to assist in future develop- <br />ment of Santa Clara County. <br />6. State of California, Department of Finance, advised the estimated <br />population of the Town of Los Altos Hills, as of March 11 1970, was 6,850. <br />7. Letter from M. L. Hawley, attorney for Fremont Hills Country Club, <br />agreed to easement for bike path providing they are held free of liability <br />arising from its usage. <br />
