Ross Aiken called the Regular Meeting of the City Council of the <br />Town of Los Altos Hills to order at 7:47 P. M. in the Council Chambers of <br />the Town Hall, 26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, with the following members <br />answering roll call: Present: Councilmen Benson, Davey, Fowle, Helgesson, <br />Mayor Aiken. Absent: None. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION REPRESENTATIVE: Chairman William A. Perkins <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES: May 5, 1969 O O 6 <br />Councilman Davey moved, seconded by Benson and carried unanimously, that <br />approval of Minutes of May 5, 1969 be deferred to the next meeting. <br />006, <br />Assistant City Manager read the following communications: <br />1. Thomas G. Hanna, Office of the Santa Clara County Executive, dated May 2, <br />explaining proposed increase in 1969-70 rate for Sheriff Patrol Services to <br />$13.17 per hour (increase of $1.24). <br />Staff noted a meeting with the County had been scheduled for May 22nd to <br />discuss the proposed rate increase. <br />2. State Senator Clark L. Bradley, dated May 12, relating to the motor <br />vehicle noise problem. Staff noted this Would be referred to the Noise <br />Abatement Committee. <br />3. Marilyn D. Palm, owner of Flying M. Ranch, dated May 5, re horse controls. <br />Staff noted the letter had been forwarded to the Citizens Committee reviewing <br />same. <br />4. George Seidman, President Los Altos Board of Realtors, dated May 5, re- <br />questing the Town to proclaim May 18-24, 1969 as "Realtor Week". <br />Council unanimously concurred with proclamation. <br />5. Calvin C. Flint, District Superintendent, Foothill Junior College District, <br />dated May 6, advising of procedures designed to control utilization of Foot- <br />hill College Stadium. <br />6. B. L. Pfefer, 26089 Todd Lane, dated May 5, requesting hazards to <br />vehicular and pedestrian traffic be eliminated on the curved section of <br />Fremont Road between Edith Avenue and Manuella Road. <br />Council concurred Staff should investigate this area and report back to the <br />Council. <br />7. Robert R. Buss, Director of Purissima Hills County Water District, dated <br />May 12, re possible development of Adobe Creek Water Basin and extending <br />invitation to '.Vater District Board meetings on the second Wednesday of each <br />month. <br />
