CITY COUNCIL <br />TO.1,1 OF LOS ALTOS HILLS <br />MINUTES OF A REGULAR ADJOURNED MEETING <br />July 22, 1969 <br />Mayor 'Am. Ross Aiken called the Regular Adjourned Meeting of the City Council <br />of the Town of Los Altos Hills to order at 7:49 P. M. in the Council Chambers <br />of the Town Hall, 26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, with the following <br />members answering roll call: Present: Councilmen Benson, Davey, Fowle, <br />Helgesson, i-layor Aiken. Absent: None. <br />PUNNING COMMISSIO14 REPRESENTATIVE: Commissioner Don T. Hibner <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES: July 7, 1969. <br />Councilman Helgesson moved, seconded by Benson and carried unanimously <br />that the Minutes of July 7, 1969 be approved as submitted. <br />Assistant City Manager reviewed the following: <br />1. Robert B. 4ard, President Hills Little League, dated July 18, presenting <br />progress report on development of the Little League property on Purissima <br />Road, urging Council endorsement of Little League fund-raising activities <br />and objectives, and urging the Town finalize purchase of the Little League <br />property from the Palo Alto School District. <br />2. Charles — Althaus, 374 S7. Washington Street, Sunnyvale, dated July 3, <br />re accidental fire damage to trees at 10435 Albertsworth Lane. <br />Staff noted this matter would be returned to the Council when an estimate <br />for replacing two trees had been obtained. <br />SCHiDULED ITZH NO. 1: <br />FINAL READING OF 1969-70 BUDGET AND TAX RATE. <br />City Manager reviewed the Second Draft of the 1969-70 Budget, noting the <br />following: <br />1. Total budgeted revenues and expenditures for all funds equal <br />$738,903.00. <br />2. Actual assessed valuation for the 1969-70 Fiscal Year exce.3ds Staff <br />estimates by approximately $881,000.00, which could yield an additional <br />$2,203.00 revenue. City Manager noted this amount could be offset by an <br />increased delinquency in tax payment and recommended the budget not be <br />revised. <br />3. The Planning Commission had adopted a resolution confirming adherence <br />to their original planning schedule for completion of Phase I and II of the <br />General Plan Revision during the first six months of the 1969-70 Fiscal <br />Year. Commission requ=sted the Council to review the budget in January, <br />1970 to ascertain whether additional planning funds might then be available <br />to continue the General Plan Revision. <br />Council discussion ensued concerning budget appropriations for planning, <br />drainage and public works, with Floor participation by: ;Ars.
