Henley called the Regular Meeting of the City Council of the <br />Town of Los Altos Hills to order at 7:52 P. if. in the Council Chambers of the <br />Town Hall, 26375 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, with the following members <br />answering Roll Call: Present: <br />Councilmen Aiken, Benson, Davey, <br />Fowle_ <br />Mayor Henley. Absent: None. <br />PLAiINING COf/AMISSION 1aPRESEIVTATNE: Commissioner Wm. A. Perkins <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES: February <br />5_ ._1968. <br />Upon Motion by Councilman Fowle, <br />Second by Davey, the Alinutes of <br />February <br />5, <br />1968 were unanimously approved as <br />submitted. <br />COMMUNICATIONS: <br />REEL 5 <br />SIDE 1 <br />City Manager read letter from R. <br />4. McCulloch dated February 15, <br />1960 re: <br />TRACK 3 <br />request for a one year extension <br />of time for filing of final map. <br />03 <br />i70TIOH, SECOND3D AND CiRRIED: Motion by Councilman Benson, Seconded by <br />Davey and carried unanimously, that a one year extension (to March 20, 1969) <br />of time be granted to Nr. McCulloch, pursuant to recent amendments in the <br />State Planning Act which allow suet an e:cten;icn. <br />ANNOUNCZPE, NTS: <br />City Clerk presented to the City Council the petitions to recall Council- 14 <br />men Davey and "Henley and noted the attached certificates showing the <br />results of the examination process required by the elections Code. City <br />Clerk also noted that the petition to retail_ Councilman Fowle had not been <br />accepted since the number of signatures, pri-.a facie, was less than the <br />minimum number of signatures requir?d by the tilections Code. <br />Scheduled Item No. 1. <br />DISCUSSION OF ABAG: REEL 5 <br />SIDE 1 <br />Councilman Davey initiated discussion of the recent financial scandal TRACK 3 <br />occurring within the Association of Day :..ea governncnts. Council 39 <br />discussion ensued concerning the To„mis position on the controversy <br />which has arisen. <br />MOTION AND SECO7dD: Councilman Benson moved; Seconded by Aiken, that the <br />Council form a study committee to review tie Town's relationship to AGAG. <br />SUUSTITUTS MOTION, SECONDED iiND CiRRIT): Counciluan Fowle noved; Seconded <br />by Aiken and carried unanimously, that the appointment of this study <br />committee await the submission of a comolcte factual report by -LAC, <br />
