Henley called the Regular Adjourned Meeting of the City Council <br />of the Town of Los Altos Hills to order at 6:37 P. M. in the Council Chambers <br />of the Town Hall, 26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, with the following <br />members answering Roll Call: Present: Councilmen Aiken, Benson, Davey, Fowle, <br />Mayor Henley. Corbetta's letter stated that no objection or protest was being made to the <br />formation of the district but only to the proposed spread of the assessment and <br />the claimed special benefit conferred upon his property. However, Mr. Robin D. <br />Faisant, City Attorney, ruled that 14r. Corbetta's protest constituted an official <br />protest to the formation of the district. City Attorney also noted that any <br />questionable protests had been counted as valid. <br />Mr. Gene V. DeArmond, City Engineer, stated that the written protests constituted <br />19.B% of the land to be assessed. <br />Council discussion ensued concerning the number of residents protesting the <br />formation of District No. 2. City Engineer stated that no statistical informa- <br />tion on the number of residences had been developed. City Attorney stated that <br />the number ol individuals protesting or the number of individuals residing in <br />the area are not properly a part of the proceedings. <br />City t.ttorney recommended that the Engineer's evidence regarding benefit and <br />spread be presented at the Protest Hearing immediately following the Division 4 <br />Hearing. <br />
