<br />members answering Roll Call: Present: Councilmen Aiken, Benson, Davey,
<br />Fowle, 1°iayor Henley. Absent: Hone,

<br />Upon i- lotion by Counciluan Davey, seconded by Aiken, the Minutes of
<br />March 283 1g6S were unanimously approved as subnitted.

<br />City ilanager read the following comiiunications:
<br />1) 92j -en R. :.rnold and seven other residents of Alexis Drive, Palo Alto,
<br />dated.:,oril 15, 1966, opposing any ?reposed plans to cut down the oak tree
<br />in the riddle of Alexis Drive at the Page Mill Road intersection.
<br />2) Thoias Jordan, President of Committee for Green Foothills, dated
<br />April 15, 196&, opposing the possible removal of the oak tree oil -',1�:
<br />Drive and suggesting that either the road be widened or that the Palo ;,Ito
<br />school bus route be changed.
<br />City Fianager noted that Los Altos Hills does not intend to cut down the tree
<br />and that Staff will communicate with the Palo Alto School District in this
<br />regard.
<br />3) Ca-,ittee for Green Foothills noting a Family Picnic to be held in
<br />Byrne Park on April 21st (Sunday), 12:00 iloon to C:00 P. M., to welcome the
<br />new Councilmen.
