RESOLUTION NO. 1198 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS ORDERING THE PERFORMANCE OF CERTAIN WORK RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of the Town of Los Altos Hills, County of Santa Clara, State of California, that, WHEREAS, the City Council did this day approve and adopt plans and specifica- tions for certain work in the City of the Town of Los Altos Hills, to wit: 1979 Street Resurfacing Project and, WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 1773 of the Labor Code of the State of California, the City of the Town of Los Altos Hills has established and determined the prevailing rate of per diem wages for public work to be performed in the City of the Town of Los Altos Hills, NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY FOUND, ORDERED AND DETERMINED as follows : 1 . Public interest and convenience require the performance of such work and said City Council hereby orders that the work and improvement, as set forth and described in said plans and specifications, be done and made. Said City Council does further order that all said work and improvement will be done under the direction of the City Engineer of the City of the Town of Los Altos Hills, and all said work and all the materials used in connection therewith shall be fur- ; nished under the direction of and to the satisfaction of said City Engineer, and all said work shall be done at the locations shown upon said plans and specifica- tions and strictly in accordance therewith. 2. Not less than the prevailing rate of per diem wages heretofore established and determined by the City of the Town of Los Altos Hills shall be paid for any work proposed to be performed in the performance of said public work under said plans and specifications. 3. The City Clerk of the City of the Town of Los Altos Hills is hereby directed to post in three (3) public places in the City of the Town of Los Altos Hills that have been designated by ordinance as the places for posting public notices, a notice inviting sealed proposals or bids for the construction of said work and improvement and referring to the plans and specifications on file in the office of the City Clerk, at least ten (10) days prior to the time fixed for opening bids.
