ORDINANCE NO. 165 AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 127 OF SAID TOWN BY PROVIDING FOR ADDITIONAL FEES FOR PERMITS OBTAINED AFTER WORK IS COMMENCED. The City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills does hereby ordain as follows: SECTION 1. SECTION 5 of ORDINANCE NO. 127 passed and adopted by the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills on October 2, 1967, is hereby amended to read as follows: "SECTION 5: Whenever work, for which under this Ordinance a permit is required, is started without obtaining such permit, the fee for such permit thereafter granted shall be ten times the normal fee for such permit, provided that the increased fee may be waived by specific action of the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills in any case in which it is deemed that such increased fee would be a special hardship, and that the work was commenced without intent to evade this ordinance." SECTION 2. Except as hereby amended, said Ordinance No. 127 shall be and remain in full force and effect. SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be posted in three (3) public places within the Town of Los Altos Hills and shall become effective thirty (30) days following its adoption. I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills on the 5th day of January, 1970, and was thereafter, at a regular meeting of said Council, held on the 19th day of January, 1970, passed and adopted by the following roll call vote: AYES: Councilmen Denson, Davey, Helgesson, Mayor Aiken NOES: None ABSENT: Councilman Fowle ATTEST: ��ity er APPROVED: ROSIN D.
