r W <br />ORDINANCE NO. 182 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS AMENDING <br />ORDINANCE NO.145 OF SAID TOWN, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO DOG <br />LICENSES. <br />The City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills, California, <br />does hereby ordain as follows: <br />SECTION 1. The City Council of the Town of Los Altos <br />Hills hereby finds and determines that, pursuant to Ordinance <br />No. 145, as amended, the Town of Los Altos Hills adopted certain <br />Sections of the Santa Clara County Ordinance Code, and that said <br />adoption was accomplished pursuant to Sections 50022.2 and <br />following of the California Government Code. <br />SECTION 2. Pursuant to Section 50022.7 of the California <br />Government Code, Sections of said Santa Clara County Ordinance <br />Code having been amended, the corresponding sections as adopted <br />by Ordinance 145, as amended, are hereby amended to read as <br />follows: <br />114.3.2-3: Disposition of Impounded Animals <br />When any licensed animal is impounded, such fact will be <br />noted and entered in the records of the County Health <br />Department. The Rabies Control Operator shall also <br />immediately notify the owner of the impounded animal, <br />if known to him. The posted notice shall contain a <br />description of the said animal impounded and shall set <br />forth the fact that unless it is reclaimed before the <br />time specified in said notice, which time shall not be <br />less than three (3) days nor more than ten (10) days from <br />the posting thereof, the Rabies Control Operator shall <br />proceed to dispose of said animal; provided, that all <br />animals so taken into the custody of the Rabies Control <br />Operator which, by reason of age or disease or other <br />infirmity, are unfit for further use, or dangerous to be <br />ROBIN O.
