ORDINANCE NO. 6"' <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS AMENDING CHAPTER 4 <br />OF TITLE 4 OF THE LOS ALTOS HILLS MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO <br />WEAPONS. <br />The City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills does hereby <br />ordain as follows: <br />SECTION 1. Chapter 4 of Title 4 of the Los Altos Hills <br />Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />R0OIN D. FAISANT <br />G.I. Al.. ..U1. I.... <br />IN51 ive.... <br />"CHAPTER 4. WEAPONS <br />Sec. 4-4.01, Definitions. <br />For the purposes of this chapter, unless otherwise <br />apparent from the context, certain words and phrases used <br />in this chapter are defined as follows: <br />(a) "Missile" shall mean the article projected <br />from a missile projector. <br />(b) "Missile projector" shall mean any instrument <br />or device of any kind, character or description which throws, <br />discharges, propels or hurls bullets or missiles of any kind <br />to any distance from such instrument or device by means of <br />elastic force, air pressure, vacuum or any explosive force. <br />Sec. 4-4.02. Discharging; Transportation; Permits Required; <br />Fees. <br />Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, no person <br />shall transport any missile projector in,or discharge any <br />missile projector in, or discharge any missile into, the <br />Town without first having applied for and obtained a written <br />permit therefor from the Chief of Police. The Chief of <br />Police shall, except as otherwise specifically directed by <br />the Council, be the sole judge as to the desirability or <br />necessity for issuing such permit which shall, in his <br />judgment, be for the protection of the applicant or in <br />-1- <br />
