THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TV..•IN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS DOFS ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: There is hereby adopted by reserence Or9irsr�,. No.PTs-1100- the County of Santa Clara, State of Caltrcrn:.a, being Electrical Code Amendments. Section 2: The provisions of said Ordinance NS -110:-:- shall be included as a part of the uniform Building Code c,f r..= Town of Los Altos Hills and in compliance therewith shall be required in the substantive expression as the requirements for electrical installation construction within the Town of Los AJ.tc., Hills. Section 3: The provisions of Ordinance No. 29 shall continue inul force and effect. Section 4: This Ordinance is hereby declared to be Lu:. emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of $.e public peace, health, safety and general welfare of the peole of the Town of Los Altos Hills, and shall take effect immediate:s upon its adoption. The following is a statement of the facts found and determined by the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills showing the urgency of this Ordinance. It has been determined that the provisions of the Na- tional Electrical Code (1956 edition) as set .out in Section 5 of Article 9 are not sufficiently specific as to certain stan- dards of electrical installation which are required by the Couit-- of Santa Clara and other neighboring jurisdiction and which are deemed essential for the safety and adequate protection of lives ani property in such construction. It is i.perative that these standards be incorporated immediately into the requirements of the Town of Los Altos Hills inasmuch as otherwise great confusion would exist; unfair advantage would be taken of individuals and lives and property would be in danger by sub -standard installa:5i^r. not intended for the Town of Los Altos Hills or adequate there:'::. Section 55 This Ordinance shall be posted by the Cit; Clerk in three oublic places heretofore designated by the City Council by Resolution and take effect immediately upon its acer•- tion.
